  1. Dont get your hopes up too high, how many times have we been let down in the past.......
  2. We can only pray and hope to god it isn't true.
  3. What would have been the tabloid reaction if the murderer had been caught by England fans and given a DESERVED beating,........ ENGLISH HOOLIGANS ATTACK INNOCENT BYSTANDER IN ANOTHER NIGHT OF SHAMEFUL VIOLENCE
  4. Had two blokes in the Ewood area posting season ticket leaflet's yesterday to all the houses. How many sold?.....nowhere near as many as JW was expecting at a guess
  5. Everton fans must be very proud tonight....they must also be sick of the sight of Abramovich's mug and very soon his coin too. We know how it feel's Toffees.
  6. An easy win in the end against ###### poor opponents.
  7. An unbelievably selfish attitude that is. But it probably reflects the feelings of a lot of our supporters - oh I will bugger off now that the Walker money has dried up. It is time for fans to repay Jack Walker at the time when the club needs our support more than ever. Well said mjs...so strange how everybody and his dog wanted a piece of the pie when matters were rosey back in '95. Impending matters at Ewood this coming season will soon sort the wheat from the chaff both on and off the field of play I feel (interpret how you wish). NOT good timing like Rev states.
  8. 20% increase in sales at dollopdale compared to the same stage last season.....surely nothing to do with the free under 8's? http://www.pnefc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News...~532156,00.html
  9. Short queues at the ticket office this morning..only till Sat to renew your old seat, direct debit etc people!!!
  10. Many more than 30k England fans in the stadium, thousands in the bars around the area and NO trouble reported in Lisbon this morning.......OH DEAR! what in gods name will the press use to fill their front pages with now? WELL DONE ENGLAND FANS
  11. What do you think to that Soueyisgod?........ 35-50k!!! England fans expected in Portugal...... only 4 arrests and those released without charge MAGNIFICENTLY WELL BEHAVED I WOULD SAY!
  12. Have the English 'barbarians' taken to eating the local population yet mate?
  13. Threw pepper spray at a coach full of local band members, many of them young teenagers in tears according to reports....JHC! even the 'old school' English hooligans of yesteryear must be holding their heads in shame and complete embarrassment at this one.
  14. Early doors yet but does anyone know how many have been renewed to date?
  15. SG194- Read my post again. The comment that seemingly sickened you began with the word 'if' and I did NOT suggest that Rovers did not try to entice fans. Quite the opposite- I've not moaned and groaned once about the deals Rovers have put on, in fact I'm very impressed that they are trying to reach those fans we lost despite finishing sixth. It was in reply to your suggestion "believe me the club wont ever bother again". You're wrong. The club will bother - they do not share your outlook thankfully or those fans will not come back. FLB-read my post again...where did I say you personally were moaning and groaning? my vitriol is aimed at those who will refuse to purchase a season ticket even with all the clubs financial initiatives for next season due to the fact that 'we weren't entertained enough last season!' blah, blah, blah. John Williams has already stated that the club is taking a gamble with freezing the prices,if (as many expect) we again lose season ticket holder's then the club could easily lose money on last season....do you really believe the club would let that trend continue? If the club dont see a positive response to their offers then I personally believe they wont do it again....THEY SIMPLY CANT AFFORD TOO! Once again my comments are aimed at those who are having second thoughts about renewing..... Quote from John Williams, season ticket renewal letter: '' To survive as a Premiership club over the long-term it is imperative that we find more and more season ticket holders.'' ''We are really trying to give a great deal- PLEASE HELP,BUY YOUR SEASON TICKET'' The prices at Deepdale and the Turd REALLY put matters into perspective..we dont realise how lucky we are, some it would seem cant see beyond their noses. £170 to watch tat Accy stanley!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!cheap?
  16. Of course the club doesn't have the god given right to 'expect money from the population' but without that support the club could cease to exist. What p1sses me off the most is the fact that Rovers have done everything possible to make attending Ewood affordable yet still people will f'kin moan and groan.Ok, perhaps the football hasn't been as entertaining as we SPOILT Rovers fans would like but to me the club is asking for the people of Blackburn for a little more support in these 'hard times'....we all enjoyed the title year and many were quick to join the Rovers bandwaggon but you have to ask where are the 6,000 extra season ticket holders now???..... 'If the club "wont ever bother again" then they will get what they deserve; less fans.' That comment sickens me FLB!, what about all the initiatives the club has offered over the years: £5 home tickets, free travel to away matches ect.....same old Rovers fans; take, take take! SUPPORT THE CLUB.
  17. Can I correct you bob please..the MAIN reason for having a season ticket is to financially support the club. If people are turning their noses up at Rovers freezing prices then its a bloody poor do...if we dont atleast equal last seasons sales then believe me the club wont ever bother again. Again I reiterate that we could be the only Premierleague side AGAIN (just like last season) to see season ticket numbers/gates fall......its very depressing for all concerned:(
  18. Matters looking good then!
  19. Burnley v Rovers!!..bet Lancashire police are looking forward to that possibility!!!!!!! Dubious to say the least.
  20. I'm just looking forward to renewing mine full stop.A freeze on prices, interest free direct debit and kids tickets at just £70(£4 a game!!),what the hell more do we want...a winning side at Ewood?
  21. Tugay to go? Cole to go?....Dickov Just listening to the style council belt out ' walls come tumbling down'.....how appropriate
  22. Spot on mate,I'm now into the habit of buying two junior tickets for my niece and her friend every home game and will continue to do so next season...they now clearly enjoy going!!!
  23. Why not make it pay on the turnstile for the whole upper tier of the Darwen end for the low key games against the likes of Charlton,Saints, Fulham etc where low away following's are expected?.....surely worth a try to see what the responce would be.
