  1. Mmmmmmmm couldn't help but feel slighty frustrated at the final whistle. We had the majority of chances but failed to capitalise through lack of real quality up front. How many times did we hopelessly punt the ball route one only to see it go straight back to Bumley...we were losing possession far to easily at times!!! One crumb of comfort I can take is that Valios was Bumleys best player by a country mile..the rest were mediocre and they shouldn't in all honesty give us too much trouble back at paradise. Great support from BOTH sets of fans today but the brain dead pillock who wanted a toe to toe with Savage will be spending a little time at her Majesty's pleasure very soon...TOP BURNLEY BOY!!
  2. Excellent point Roverite.Rovers players are used to playing infront of large, partisan crowds in the Premiership...once again the real question is will the Bumley players be able to cope with the whole occasion? Many of their fans at work are worried sh1tless 2 days before a ball has even been kicked in anger never mind their players!!.
  3. STILL 300 left as of close of business today........ http://www.burnleyfootballclub.premiumtv.c...~628733,00.html
  4. 2-0 Rovers. Come Monday lunchtime and the pubs of Bumley are awash with dodgy clothing and Boots hand creams/facial products after yet another classic fit of robbing pique by the local yokels!. Window fitters on bonus time galore. P.S. It is every man, woman and childs duty on Sunday to stand for 90 mins and make that stand vibrate down to its foundations with sound.
  5. Looking forward(in a comical way) to seeing Geoff 'I say you buy one window get one free' Brown before the kick off.......... We'll have the aggravating b'stard in tears by the time we've finsihed with him!!!!!!!
  6. I'm slowly edging towards the green side too pal. The amount of disrespect shown by this clown to our club is sickening especially after we nursed him back from an horrific injury that, not too long ago, would have finished his career. You recieved all the support you could have wished for at Ewood Ferguson, from the boardroom to the supporter in the stands,we all wished you well. I wonder what a 'real' club captain and gentleman like Ronnie Clayton must think of all this..........................
  7. '' Indeed many believe it is their right, and mutter darkly that but for Jack Walker's millions they would still be north Lancashire's top dogs." Absolute classic!! Would we be talking about a supposed 'top dog' Burnley that prior to 'Jack walkers millions' were to be seen shamefully grubbing around the bottom of the old fourth division with gates of 1,600? Top dog in north Lancashire they maybe but NEVER have been nor NEVER will be in East Lancashire!!
  8. The side that keeps a cool head will win this one.Have a gut feeling it will be a close affair but hopefully our all-round better quality will shine through in the end and see us home to victory. A Rovers win- welcome as usual. A draw- begrudgingly exceptable. A Rovers defeat-UNTHINKABLE!!!!! COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!!
  9. I was involved in the legal admin of this tragedy
  10. The number of banning orders that are currently in place for so-called Burnley fans at Turf moor is amazing in relation to the size of support. A section of your fans reputation for violence sadly goes before you, like it or not and follows you around like a bad smell.
  11. For the love of god please go..I'll pay your air fare!
  12. 99.9% of fans realise its nothing more than banter,Dingles and B'stards,B'stards and Dingles.....sticks and stones. You really do have to be incredibly insular to take it all so seriously. I've read threads gloryfying Ewood '83 on your websites so touche Burnley lads.....dont go taking your bat 'n' ball home.
  13. They have 200 left as of dinner time today.
  14. Into the footballing wasteland of Burnley we boldy venture again........ Glenn's pics for the Digledome 2001
  15. Lets give them another footballing lesson and finish them off in their own back yard, that'll really grate with 'em........ As cruel and ruthless as we can be.
  16. Yet another absolute corker of a classic comment from Claretsmad: ''Whos your dangermen?? Mortens Gans Pedersen!! hes rubbish I think it will b a 2-1 victory to the Boys in Claret so all you Blackburn B******S start rioting like pricks! no need for it!!'' You couldn't dream it up could you!!
  17. For those going on the train, just be carefull that you dont get mixed up with the usual suspects, although I fail to see how you can avoid it...unfortunately our good old Lancashire police tend to treat everybody the same.
  18. Another poor crowd yesterday to be honest, around 18,000 Rovers with the rest from Norwich...surprised with their good following. Sorry, but It says something not too good when fans of 'The Canaries' can take the pish out of our support. Lets all hope a few more performances like that at home will entice the stay aways back.
  19. Scored against them and promptly ran the full length of the Longside to celebrate.Good 'owd Simon.
  20. Anybody else putting some serious money where their mouth is for this game at the bookies?........
  21. WHOOOOOOOOO!!!....Blackburn Rovers fc trembles with fear Zak lad!!!
  22. That exact team and formation MUST be played against 'them' come next Sunday.
  23. SUPER! SMASHING!!! GREAT!! Solid team performance by all concerned,Pedersen well deserving of both man of the match awards. What can be said about wee Dickov other than inspirational. Play like that again next Sunday lads and you'll be kings for the day
  24. Great bit of news that about Todd NOT!!....coach no 20 BTW
  25. '2,979 were visitors'? 'We had to get tickets at front of jackwalkers stand and from there the Burnley looked full bar the first few rows left unsold for security reasons'? Oh jesus not again, how many times...your like a dog chasing its tale fella!!! Just like in 2001 I see home tickets have been put on 'open sale' with up to 6 per person available to Bumley fans..that was never the case at the Ewood game for us. The fact of matter is that without this 'open sale policy' you would never come close to achieving a sellout in your home areas come Sunday....your average attendance doesn't tell a lie You still not sold out then Clitheroe Kate!?
