  1. Redknapp: 'Crouch is worth 8 million'?...utterly ridiculous!
  2. Its 7% down on this stage last season. Unfortunately I expect to see a few more sub 20,000 gates but that wont improve until performances do at home,Rovers are probably the cheapest season ticket in the Prem but,to put it quite bluntly, people will not pay good money for bad rubbish in this area...thats the way it is I'm afraid.
  3. Rovers have sold 10,000 tickets to press according to the LET tonight......7% down on this time last season.
  4. Talking about pre-season friendly's take a gander at Swansea's new 'white rock' stadium, neat and tidy but rather typical of the new 'soulless bowl' construction of late! Thank god for Ewood!
  5. Rovers to finish a creditable 10th..more than happy. The rest I care not.
  6. Imagine a terrace of say 5 risers 2 METRES WIDE, running the length of the Riverside 2 Metres wide??.....you joking Alan75!!
  7. Unfortunately Robertson with the amount of bloody Chelski and Liverpool shirts being worn around Blackburn of late your experience sounds about right.
  8. Pictures are now being released of the missing, many around my own age....chances are they might never be found,I find this highly depressing. The picture of the blood splattered front of the building some 30 ft from the bus explosion published in the tabloids does not leave much to the imagination.
  9. Where are all the fans going? I understand we have been rubbish the past two seasons, but are our fans really this "faithful" and commited? Thats the big question Bobby and its very, very worrying. Bolton are talking about having to introduce a season ticket 'waiting list' while we appear to be losing them by the 1,000s yet again.....Blackburn Rovers simply cannot continue this trend for much longer at this level
  10. If the perpetrators are found to be British born Muslims then yes it is treason. 'Violation of allegiance toward one's country or sovereign, especially the betrayal of one's country by waging war against it or by consciously and purposely acting to aid its enemies Fair play Colin but its my own personnel opinion that the death penalty should be in place for terrorism.......... I'm afraid todays world may necessitate such action now. Anyway, nothing like a good old hanging and quartering on Tynburn common.
  11. I do believe the death penalty is still in place for high treason....make full use of it if the culprits to this atrocity are found.
  12. If we are 40% down on last season then it's bloody disastrous and some.
  13. More complete and utter @#/? from a 'Matthew day'?????? http://www.extratime.corporalcarrot.co.uk/...from=&ucat=123& ''An under-achieving club which has been through a see-saw journey over the last 10 years'' Common Rovers!!, lets make these plebs eat their words come next season
  14. Give over!...two-bob Bumley have sold 8,000
  15. I just hope you have renewed yours shag!!!
  16. Totally agree tcj jones!
  17. An Islamic extremist group has claimed responsibility for the atrocity.....wake up sleepy head Scotty.
  18. I am SO f'kin angry!!!!!!!! Its time to take the fight right to the Muslim extremists in this country and hit back hard, also stop all asylum seekers now.
  19. Useless player??....the mind boggles
  20. Support who you f'kin well want pal! Cole would be welcome back,a player who should never have left in the first place. He still makes the grade and by a long way!
  21. I like West Ham,a London club who have remained close to their working class roots on and off the pitch.Good loyal support who create a good atmosphere at the claustrophobic Boleyn ground......may well make my first appearance at an away game for quite some time! We took our maximum allocation of 5,500 to Wigan for the league cup game Philipl and I'm sure it will be the same this coming season.
  22. Some good positive news about season ticket sales so far,and like Roverite says, that important key signing could maybe even push overall sales beyond last season..........BE BRAVE MR WILLIAMS!!
  23. November 1st 1980....Swansea city. Sat freezing in the rickety old Riverside stand, aged 8, watching a bore draw.My abiding memory was looking down towards the Blackburn End terrace with the fans all huddled towards the centre avoiding the rain and thinking how empty it looked!
