  1. Great result but I am convinced that some of you wear blue and white specs 24/7. The first half performance was appalling, apart from the goal we were clueless, uninspiring and without any creativity full stop. Thank god an improved second half and the result made up for it. THIS TEAM HAS A LONG WAY TO GO BEFORE SAFETY IS ASSURED AND MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT THAT.
  2. ''Tired my posterior. They aren't paid to be tired.'' Roversmum, blame the plebs at the FA who sanction 4 games to be played in just over a week.... one joke of a schedule. The most highly trained athletes on the planet would start to feel the effects.....LET ALONE FOOTBALLERS!!!!
  3. This ridiculous run of relegation home form MUST be broken tomorrow. Rovers 2 Charlton 1. 21,500
  4. Shades of last season come a haunting, falling to the final sucker punch in the dying minutes...we were doing so well to hold out for the point Oh well...bring on the addicks!
  5. Stay well clear Rovers, the whole deal stinks to high heaven. Do we really need this average player whose present club are doing all they can to fleece us?.....do we sh1te! Birmingham city are one hell of a 'sleezeball' football club in my opinion.
  6. Those pictures of the dead decaying bodies on the beach...... remind me of the annual Scottish summer excursions to Blackpool.!
  7. A suntan bed and and pair of hair curling tongues...ok smart arse.
  8. 2.7 million JHC!!!!.......here come the Blackburn mugs again waiving their coin!
  9. Have to agree with that. We MUSTbreak this terrible run of home form!
  10. 1-1.....Gally. We are now much harder to break down under Hughes and Villa aren't exactly scoring loads at the minute.
  11. Souness to bid 5 million for a players he bought for 7.5 million less than 12 months ago!?..........this fella is taking the p1ss. I hope we keep Ferguson but a bid of 7 mill or above may force our hand
  12. A polite 'p1ss off' if Brum come back me thinks!
  13. Couldn't agree more Geordie boy,its just our lot always seem to need a reminder!
  14. YES!!!!!!!......a priceless win for us NOW get them tickets bought for the Charlton game!!!
  15. 1-1, another ruddy draw!! Would like to see Gally start with Dickov. Bolton fans annoy the Sh1te out of me for some reason, so full of it for a club thats NEVER won a top flight title!
  16. You hit the nail on the head, thats the difference between the current and past manager. Same players but different attitude and performances. By my reckoning we had 24000 Rovers at the game. With "Kids for a Quid" against Charlton and the fact yesterday was very entertaining I really hope we can get another decent holiday crowd in. Give them another performance and perhaps folk will realise things are not quite as bad as they look? Yep, lets hope to see those fans back at Ewood for the Charlton game, kids for a quid......what an absolute bargain.Ewood looked at its best again yesterday with a near full house. 2 ADULTS AND 3 CHILDREN IN THE RIVERSIDE OUTER FOR £33 V CHARLTON.....ONE ADULT TICKET TO NOTLOB £35!!!!!!!!
  17. mmmmmmm, Everybody to there owm mate but I had to close my eyes everytime Newcastle came forward....a lot of panic still evident when opposing sides apply the pressure. All in all a fair result from an enjoyable game, good crowd too. We MUST start to turn these draws into wins somehow.
  18. No1 will be the big problem if it continues to snow heavily over night.
  19. "Okay, so we didn't have Damien Duff's flair or Dunny's but we'd added some seasoned professionals in Paul Dickov and Dominic Matteo in the summer and I felt I left a group of players that were better equipped than at any time I was at the club. '' Amazingly naive comment!
  20. A mate at work says some of his Rovers pals(who haven't been in ages!) are in the Darwen end.....I think the barcodes have been given 5,000 Roverite. Demand for the game seems to be pleasingly high!
  21. Nice one Ozziejones......spot on!! I REALLY do hope that happens...a fitting farewell to show we're not all 'bitters'
  22. Couldn't agree more Roversmum and your quite correct saying that Ewood park has been there longer than the majority of the housing around it. Just making the point that its this godforsaken council that imposed the parking bans....I live around Livesey and personally speaking putting up with people parking for 90 minutes every other saturday was never a problem to be honest......SO LONG AS IT WASN'T INFRONT OF OUR RUDDY DRIVE!!
  23. Worrying statistic isn't it.......just highlights how fickle Rovers fans are, although I'd probably cut those figures down to about 2,500- 3000 RB! P.S. Its the ruddy council who call the shots with the parking restrictions round Ewood on Matchday not the residents.....go vent your spleen to them!!
  24. No I dont think its alright that he sold Cole etc, etc ,thats just one of the reasons why were in the brown stuff now but by deriding man who did guide us to success will only give the hacks more fuel for their anti Rovers rants,it can equally work against us.Rovers fans were lambasted to kingdom come over their treatment of Shearer.....can you not see my point of view? The best course of action is to simply ignore the fella,no acknowlegement whatsoever from the stands towards him(they say silence speak's volumes) and lets do our talking on the pitch....well, lets at least try anyway!
