  1. I actually think that's how you should use him - a big, athletic player that chases everything down when you're ahead. He's not going to score you any goals though.
  2. How was that a horrible watch? We were disciplined, committed and worked our socks off. A draw is a fair result because Kone missed an open goal for them - but I'd be livid if I was JDT at the FK they were awarded for their goal. If we play like that for the rest of the season I'll be delighted.
  3. We've genuinely played well in 2023, we just usually can't take our chances.
  4. At the end of the day JDT hasn't been afraid to blood youngsters - he clearly doesn't think he's ready.
  5. I thought the midfield was fine. Morton was a passenger at times, but Travis had a cracking game. Hedges did more in his 15-20 minutes than Brereton-Diaz managed all match. He HAS to be dropped at this point I'm afraid.
  6. Tony Mowbray walked into a better squad than the shambles that bastard left behind.
  7. It's not gone unnoticed that it was a blatant dive.
  8. Thomas is on a yellow too - probably the right decision to take him off.
  9. Thanks for what? It wasn't a foul.
  10. I spoke too soon about the ref - he's falling for their con now. Throwing themselves to the floor every chance they get - should be handing out yellow cards for diving, really. Just seen they've scored from this - it really is a disgusting game.
  11. Dolan right, Gallagher central btw.
  12. Yes, much like Sheffield United, they'd all start for us.
  13. Ball crossed in from the left, Pears flapped (Davis caused all sorts of issues) and Kone missed an open net at the far post.
  14. Their bench is terrifying.
  15. Based on the line-ups, sure. Based on the chances created, absolutely not.
  16. Sarr just rinsed our right hand side - JRC and Carter both tried to kick him into touch but couldn't get near him.
  17. Davis tore us apart last season - not happy with this sub.
  18. You've just said that it's a Mowbray-esque move to take a winger and play him upfront. Make your mind up.
  19. For what it's worth he can play pretty much anywhere on Football Manager.
  20. Bags of energy, putting himself about, linking play up with little flicks when he can and holding the ball up when it comes to feet. So much better than Vale, but he's still not a CF. He's the best option we have though.
  21. Ah Porteous looks good, to be fair. He's just clearly a tosser.
  22. 5'6" Dolan is putting 6'0" Vale to shame playing as a CF.
  23. I'm speaking too soon, but this ref has been very good today.
