  1. Is it in Lawro's contract not to talk about Rovers on MOTD? I don't think he's said a word in our post match analysis (which is pitiful I might add without Hansen) for at least a fortnight.

Watching the highlights again confirmed how soft Terry really is. Was the fairy even touched for his penalty? The Joe Cole challenge was also borderline red - there was no attempt to get the ball. A very harsh red mind, but I've seen them given.

Did I mention Brad is past it?

  2. I can't recall their players gloating. People keep moaning about Chelsea's funds(including Rovers fans amazingly) and thats through jealousy. Rovers fans should know how that feels

We have about £2.50 to spend in the transfer market in January mate. Admittedly we once were a big spending team, but that's in the past. People do complain about the funds they have at their disposal, and yes it's partly due to jealously. It's also due to a Russian criminal ruining the English Premier League with his seemingly limitless pockets.

I'm not even going to mention Moaninho, I think enough has been said about him already.

  3. Who am I kidding? This second half he was shocking. He was giving Rovers yellow cards left, right, and centre, and gave Chelsea all the 50-50s, like the commentator said.

I was especially ###### off when Dickov got a card for the smallest of touches in a tackle the deserved no more than a foul, if that. After that, Terry lunges in with a bad tackle on a Blackburn forward (I forget who) and does not receive any sort of booking.

Sparky was absolutely right to be fuming and should not have been sent off anyway (and this was before the above-mentioned incidences, mind you, which shows just how poor Riley was). Can the referee's decisions not be questioned these days?

It was Dickov for the free kick. He also was tugging at his shirt for Dickov's curling shot that went wide. Like I said, Terry is unbookable apparently

  4. 'Ave a word! so who else would you have in his place? You can be the best keeper in the world but if you defence is shaky then your always gonna conceed goals!

1 cock up does not deserve him the sack!

Shaky defence??! You talking about the same Rovers team under Hughes I've been watching? He has gifted three goals this season so far, and counting (Lampard FK, Van Nistelrooy, and Cisse FK).

We don't have a wealth of quality keepers in reserve I agree, but they should have looked for a replacement during January, not giving the bloke a new contract.

  5. 1514: GOAL Chelsea 2-0 Blackburn

Blackburn's Andy Todd wrestles John Terry to the ground in the box and it is a penalty for the Premiership champions. Frank Lampard makes no mistake as his spot-kick goes one way and Brad Friedel goes the other.

    1519: GOAL Chelsea 2-1 Blackburn

Zurab Khizanishvili is clipped in the box by Ricardo Carvalho and it is a second penalty at Stamford Bridge - and a third of the day in the Premiership. Like those that have gone before the ball ends up in the back of the net, Craig Bellamy applying the scoring touch.

    Media bias anyone?

  6. Supported them since I moved into the area, fifteen years ago. Had supported Oldham previous, but then again when I say supported I was five at the time tongue.gif . Everyone at primary school supported either t'Rovers or Man United, so I chose one and jumped on the bandwagon wink.gif

Had a season ticket since the '99 season, after I managed to convince my Citeh loving dad to tag along to matches biggrin.gif . I've not fully converted him, but I'm working on it!
