  1. No wonder most of the players look like they have zero fight in them. Very. Rotten from the core. This is rubbing off on me and I’m sure others. Why should we bother to waste time and money on them. FFS Chaddy, your blind optimism is absolutely baffling. Will it take as long as it did with Mowbray for the penny to drop with you?
  2. Spot on. I was thinking back to the Hull match being cancelled last minute last year. I was annoyed at the time, but in hindsight, it was a blessing. Lovely Boxing Day ruined by Rovers yesterday and salt rubbed in the already sore wounds by seeing that fucking idiot Mowbray celebrate like he’s just won the FA Cup. Three matches in the last five I really wanted us to win(Dingles, PNE and yesterdays) and they’ve let us down. I said to my lad at 90 minutes yesterday that we will concede from this free kick and that’ll be me done for a while if so. 10 seconds later they scored.
  3. The problem is that I don’t think JDT’s vision is not going to work in this league because we haven’t got and won’t be able to afford the players to pull it off and I believe you need to mix it up. Total football isn’t the answer in this league; the two teams I believe will go up automatically are the Dingles and Sheff Utd, both teams are full of shithouse bullies as well as decent players. Look how well Luton did last season by kicking teams like us off the pitch. Oh how I’d love a few players in the mould of Nelsen, Savage, Reid and Todd. I’d love Black eye Rovers to return, but I don’t believe it’s JDT’s style and I believe he’s that stubborn that he will fall on his own sword before he changes. If it all works out it’ll be great(I’d love JDT to be a massive success), but if we’d got a more proven manager in like Big Sam(who I wasn’t a massive fan of towards the end, but appreciated what he did, especially in recent times), he’d bring in a few shit houses and also make the most of what players we do have rather than trying to make them play in a way they can’t. Not sure I’ve got the appetite for another 3 season journey/project that ends up in the same place we started.
  4. If Hirst(number 1 target!!🤯) and Mola are anything to go by, I’ve no confidence we’ll improve much. Brittain and Hyam have been great though, so fingers crossed.
  5. I wonder if getting promoted would stop the project of adding value to players and then selling them on for big profits? If we were in the Prem now, there’s no way we could risk playing any of our current academy graduates, we’d crash and burn with a team of inexperienced kids. Venky’s would have to spend a lot of money to even have a chance of staying up, we’d need an entirely new squad bar 2 or 3 players which would wipe out the £200 million and not allow us to continue the project. Though thinking about it, they could pocket the £200 million and then pocket the parachute payments and make more money that the project. They’re probably not clever enough to think of that though. I wonder why they bother with us, as it they always seem so half arsed.
  6. I think the same posters were saying the same thing when the death spiral kicked in last season. I wish I could have a bit of the blind optimism sometimes, but years of Rovers has made me a miserable negative bastard 😂
  7. Nail on the head. We’ve been figured out, as has our manager who doesn’t have a plan B.
  8. I like JDT, but I’m not liking his stubbornness to keep on with the pissing around at the back and his tactics in general. I’m prepared to give him time, but he’s not showing any signs of learning froM his mistakes. You have to set your team up to suit your players, but he doesn’t. We don’t have the players to play how he wants and even with good transfer windows it’ll take years and years to achieve if ever. The lack of fight and desire is also a massive worry. We have soft weak players, but we are spineless. Teams have us figured out. We are getting bullied. Are the players giving everting for him? Is the training not working? This league needs fighters as well as skill. Id love him to turn it around, but I’m not sure he will. The league position has flattered us all season and the good luck we had has now run out.
  9. The last two matches haven’t been just bad days, they’ve been a disgrace. I can accept losing, I can accept bad luck, but these spineless, inept, tactical suicide displays are totally unacceptable. He isn’t learning either. Mistakes, bad decisions and choices happen, but not learning from them is again, unacceptable.
  10. Sky bigged it up like it was Josimar’s goal against Northern Ireland 🙄
  11. I know you all think I’m a yob now, but I’m 29 miles away, so I still think it’s an impressive feat. ps. Is that message Broadsword calling Danny Boy? 😉 😂
  12. On penalties too no doubt. I’ve absolutely no desire to watch the match tonight now. Bloody football, honestly don’t know why I bother.
  13. Snowing heavy now. Needs to be called off and replayed at a later date for player safety.
  14. Believe me, I have 😂 This display has caused out of character behaviour 🙄😂
  15. Highlight of the match for me was just now when I said “FFS Mola, you’re fucking shit” and Sky apologised for any offensive language immediately after. Didn’t think I’d said it that loud…
  16. Travis and Morton are shite. Should have both been subbed. Where the fuck is Adam Wharton???
  17. His Skype: Out of Office until January with no access to calls or emails.
  18. Another manager that is too stubborn to see his tactics don’t work. Fuck off and take your shit passing around tree back with you.
  19. Definitely prefer it to fannying about at the wrong end of the pitch
  20. Hopefully we’ll also get some penetration, to go with the foreplay!
