I’d love Sparky, but I get a slightly anxious feeling that it will end up like when we have a few players come back after a great first spell. Who is going to conduct these interviews? Is there anyone at the club that actually knows anything about football? Anyone can bullshit in an interview. Even Mowbray can sometimes talk a good game.

I was searching this morning for Coventry City forums to find their views on Mowbray. It’s quite bizarre how in 2016 their fans are having the exactly the same discussions that we did during the start of a Mowbray death spiral. Looking at the results and positions briefly it’s almost like a carbon copy of his time with us. As someone else asked previously, why does this happen? Many of the Mowbray apologists blame injuries, bad luck, lack of funds in January etc, but the common denominator is Mowbray. Does he himself not notice the pattern? His mood after January always reflects the results, does he mood affect the results or the results affect his mood? Does he get bored after January? From what I know of Mowbray, he won’t for one minute believe(or at least admit)it’s his own fault and anyone that questions he will face his wrath. The LET and Radio Lancashire would never have the balls to ask the question. Or the CEO for that matter. Maybe a psychologist could sort him out? Or maybe he wouldn’t listen to advice and tell them he’s wrong. Maybe we could look at bringing in a second manager. Let Mowbray manage until January and then let him have a break for the rest of the season. If you look on Twitter you will find many Mowbray fans. It’s like a different dimension. This smug looking bastard for example idolises him and he’s not alone. Finish the job? Couldn’t make it up

Probably because he’s that carefree about the club and fans that he didn’t do his research. You’d have thought he’d have at least googled the club(or maybe looked in a book as he’s maybe not tech savvy) and looked at our history in preparation of his job application here(or maybe he didn’t have to have an interview). At least he knew about the Shearer and Sutton days I guess. 🙄

I’m starting to think I need to have a sit down and consider if it’s worth it. Life’s too short. Weekends ruined, time and time again. So much frustration. Avoidable frustration if we were run properly. It’d be easier to be shit and dropping through the divisions. The hope truly does kill you. I think it’d be more beneficial to rub my ball sack on a cheese grater every Saturday afternoon. The missus will be baffled that I’m in a foul mood and not in the mood to watch a movie and have a nice meal. She’ll think it’s irrational and it’s only a game. I know you’ve got to take the rough with the smooth, but it just feels like it’s a joyless, helpless experience. At least during the Kean days I could attend the protests and join in with the Venky’s/Kean out chants until I went hoarse.

He’s selfish and arrogant. He’s not a nice man. He’s a shite, empty headed, limited, past it manager. He doesn’t give a fuck about our club or fans. He should have been sacked after we got relegated. He’s not done anything during his time here than any over average/below average manager could have done and in his head he is a championship Pep.

I imagine that if you analysed January to March performances each season, Mowbray is as bad as we’ve had as a manager. Adding to that the fact it’s never his fault and his disdain for the fans makes Mowbray time at the club very much not fondly remembered by myself.

The real kick in the balls? We/most of us saw it coming. We also expected the death spiral. Fucking Groundhog day Rovers. It also pisses me off that we’re here feeling this pain and fucking Mowbray will go home tonight gurning away not actually giving a fuck. Well, maybe he’ll be slight unhappy at no new contact(yet), I can’t imagine many employers let you keep making the same mistakes and performing badly with obvious patterns. What the fuck goes on in his head after January? He’s needs a psychologist.
