He did build a good squad, but he mismanaged it and the death spirals every year held us back. So frustrating. At times it was like he didn’t want to be here, the season before last it was almost like he wanted to be sacked. After the new year last season it was just bizarre at times, he completely lost the plot. Add in the disgraceful comments about the supporters and for me he soured any fond memories.

Will Bruce be able to predict how we will play? The tactics for the last two games have been quite different. We’re also quite dynamic now, feels like we actually may have a plan B now, unlike previously. I’m feeling positive(I never learn!),but I just want us to play with the same intensity and passion we’ve shown so far, hope for a little bit of luck and get a result. We are at home, so I don’t think 3 points is expecting too much. A good performance and a draw wouldn’t be too disappointing, but it would be lovely to keep the 100% record going.

I wonder if the Lemon Drizzle has been replaced with some nice Danish Pastries 😋

I quite miss being the bully boys, instead we were often bullied in recent seasons. Todd, Nelsen and Samba wouldn’t have taken any shit off Luton Town and Sheffield United!

Lovely stuff, lovely pass from Dack in that build up. The manager has really drilled it into them to try and take one and two touches. If Dolan had returned the pass left to Vale, instead of right, we could have possibly scored a fantastic goal. We’re not just keeping the ball and passing it around for the sake of it. I’m loving that we can play some nice stuff and also mix it up and defend in numbers when needed. The only problem with this is that the games can’t come quick enough; I’m actually looking forward to the matches at the moment!

I agree, though he does contribute defensively, it’s like having ten men at times. With 5 subs, it’s definitely worth risking Dack.

Seems the total football didn’t work out for them tonight either. I always remember battling to a draw in the FA Cup away against Arsenal, that little gobshite Fabregas questioning Mark Hughes’ football “didn’t you play for for Barcelona? That wasn’t Barcelona football”. Sparky, replied with “I don’t have Barcelona players”. We beat them in the replay 🙂
