The real kick in the balls? We/most of us saw it coming. We also expected the death spiral. Fucking Groundhog day Rovers. It also pisses me off that we’re here feeling this pain and fucking Mowbray will go home tonight gurning away not actually giving a fuck. Well, maybe he’ll be slight unhappy at no new contact(yet), I can’t imagine many employers let you keep making the same mistakes and performing badly with obvious patterns. What the fuck goes on in his head after January? He’s needs a psychologist.

I often wonder if the owners actually follow the games. Badly advised doesn’t seem to cut it. They own us for other purposes than football. No one is that thick. Well, maybe Mowbray.

They will argue that we are punching above our weight. This is our level. Our big January signing got injured in his first match. We are so lucky to have Mowbray and Venky’s; Without them we’d be doomed. What would Uncle Jack think about Mowbray and his bullshit comments? Chalk and cheese those two. These clowns wouldn’t be anywhere near our club under Jack. The remains of his legacy is just about fully pissed away. Suprised Waggot and Mowbray haven’t sold Jack’s statue off for scrap metal. Venky’s are scum, the agents and the Coventrio running our club aren’t much better. Protests and the like won’t have any help anymore because we have so many happy clapper fans that are deluded and brainwashed.

The Coventrio are all the blame. Don’t worry, that Honeyman dick head will have some more muppets lined up to fuck things up again next season.

You’ve got to wonder why we put ourselves through it. Especially when we get blamed for bad form and get called entitled etc.

He can’t even keep himself motivated(and awake a few times last season) during matches.

Many of us have the issues of work/life balance to some degree. We aren’t lucky enough to have such a job on similar money to Mowbray. The comments sounded more like he was saying that he wouldn’t be too fussed to leave. Like when a girlfriend leaves you, I’ll be able to spend more time with my mates now anyway, not bothered me.

I remember Souness used the celebrations to motivate our players for the following season. I imagine Tony will shrug his shoulders and mumble a bit. No big deal.

I’d personally still replace him if we won promotion as it’s 100% guaranteed he’d be breaking more unwanted records whilst we get relegated.

He should have gone after last seasons disgraceful death spiral, he’s lucky our owners have kept faith with him as long as they have. He’s probably due a non promotion bonus(after he baffles us with his team and tactics for the first half at least on Saturday). As others have said, we don’t know both sides and it wouldn’t be unlike Mowbray to be using this to gain sympathy/excuses for failing to make the playoffs.

I’m not so sure there aren't comparisons to be made. Mowbray and his mates are using Rovers for their own personal(financial) gain. Mowbray is a horrible man, with an evil vindictive personality. He doesn’t have the clubs best interest at heart and has contempt for the supporters. Seems we still have agents running the club that have ties back to Anderson and Kean, Mowbray is part of the same agency. I believe Kean was worse, but many times in the last few years I’ve started to dislike Mowbray as much, I’ve seen straight through the nice guy act.

Going off social media many of the younger supporters feel like without Venky’s we’d be doomed and we are lucky for their £20 million a season that they give us no questions asked, they believe without them we’d be the next Bury or Bolton. They may be right, might not be a bad thing anyway, to get our club back. It’s very strange reading Twitter and the Facebook groups, it’s like an completely alternative universe to this forum! Makes me glad I’ve got this place to be honest, great place for discussion/debate/wallowing ☺️
