  1. I've watched a bit of him on YouTube and X this morning - looks technically good and can finish, but i'm extremely aware in every video I've watched he would have been crunched by a 6 ft 3 defender by the time he got the chance in the Championship.
  2. I’m astonished this is being celebrated.
  3. Here’s my starting point: All fan groups and communities unite and hand deliver a ‘demand for resignation’ on behalf of their membership, alongside a signed petition from any fan that doesn’t feel like they’re represented by a fan group, to Steve Waggott at Ewood. Stand in reception and refuse to leave until he personally accepts the paperwork.
  4. If this post gets a significant amount of thumbs up we can trial it. Previously we’ve tried “links, but no discussion” and it never quite works. Perhaps “links and player discussion only”.
  5. No one of any real ITK-ness, it’s some of the stuff I get regularly and used to share but now don’t bother. I’d take it with a pinch of salt, I just found it interesting two people said similar things within a few hours.
  6. …but this is an internet forum, the entire concept is based around discussion, speculation and rumour.
  7. “Jon, recruitment are on the phone.” ”Yes.”
  8. Agreed, one of my favourite periods of the year.
  9. No idea why people are getting excited about Cooper, whether he signs or not. Leeds fans call him “League One Liam” because that’s his standard.
  10. And it is, of course. Until you consider the huge impact which a successful football club - or at least one we're proud of - has to our small and in places extremely deprived town.
  11. And BRFCS will fund a free to attend Rovers fan celebration at the Ewood Working Mens club.
  12. It won’t happen, but it should. We’ve just had a full year with nobody to bring off the bench. I’ve seen enough of Garrett to confidentially say he will never make it here. Saying that, we’re on such a downhill spiral he probably will. A truly one dimensional footballer with extremely limited ability. Batty gets a chance every pre season and never takes it. He’s quick, that’s about it. Get rid for whatever pennies we can. Duru to my knowledge hasn’t played a season of men’s football. He cannot be considered to be reliable until he’s done that to some success. A loan to a L2 side would be great.
  13. RE Chaddy’s question on squad, this is genuinely what I think we need to be competitive: GK: New, New, Michalski RB: Brittain, New CB: Carter, New, ORoirdon, New LB: New, Pickering, Gent CM: Travis, Tronstad, Buckley, JRC RW: New, Hedges CM: New, New LW: New, Gilsnan CF: New, New, Leonard, Tyjon That’s my 26 man squad. 12 new faces needed. All players with sub 1 year on their deal must be sold: Dolan, Hyam, Gallagher, Sigurdsson. Must be sold whilst value is high: Szmodics Sold to any bidder as proven not good enough: Vale, Markanday, Hilton, Garrett, Pears, Batty.
  14. You’re not answering questions, you’re just saying words.
  15. Great, so to go back to my question: Can you please give me something to be positive about Rovers for?
  16. Th 23 other teams in the league isn’t something Rovers have had any influence on, so I can’t see how that can be linked to a positive relating to Rovers? Perhaps as a fan it’s something you’re excited about, but the only thing you can come up with when I ask “give me something to be positive about” is we’re playing lots of local teams this year - in fixtures we’re likely the underdog in? The start of the season isn’t something under Rovers control. It has absolutely no link to Rovers, therefore you cannot possibly describe it as something to be positive about Rovers for. The kits are great - but the person responsible for designing and implementing them has now left the club. Whilst we don’t know the reason, I would speculate as he’s gone of his own decision he has gone somewhere he thinks is better. Onto your final positive, Eustace “seems” to have a plan. Yet all the noises from media would suggest he won’t have the funds to implement this plan. If it was as simple as “sign 5/6 players” then everyone in the league would be aiming for promotion. We need to sign multiple experienced, high quality players. The signs so far suggest this is not going to happen.
  17. Give me something positive to be about at Blackburn Rovers Bobby.
  18. Of course there’s a pressing need to sell him. The owners can’t fund the club so someone has to. He goes to the highest offer made before the court case.
  19. That’s the spirit, welcome to BRFCS Bobby.
  20. Hope it happens at 6M - would hopefully be enough to make some of our fans wake up.
  21. League One Liam, as he’s affectionally known by Leeds fans.
