  1. I don't those being the difference maker in getting top 6 or not..we need proven goalscorer/striker for me. Do we have the time to allow a young players to settle, why not just Play Harry Leonard instead and develop him?.
  2. You aren't ever going to have like for like for someone like Travis. Forshaw is back up player and how do you personally he not up to standard? Based on what? Eustace knows him, signed him and made him captain at Birmingham. He knows him well, maybe we should trust Eustace's judgement here.. No. They are fit and been training haven't they? Experience at this level
  3. Cos you are just looking at us and not at the other team outlook.. If you selling a striker then it's likely you want a replacement in first. For example, if we want to sign Riis but PNE might want a replacement in first before agreeing to sell him The first 2 weeks of January window is always slow. Little movement Having a problem. I dont see a good Championship striker we can sign on loan out there. I see Dennis at Forest or Ipswich striker as possibility but can we get them in. Massive question.. Can we buy what we need? Do we have budget to?
  4. I think its squad signing who will be back up to Travis and Tronstad. Similar to Baker. Championship experience. If Eustace behind the signing of Forshaw than I back his judgement, he has asked for experience Championship signings this window and he got them this summer. Its about now and present. So who would you have gone for instead? Who says his legs have gone? Are we likely to sign a better midfielder than Travis and Tronstad? Plus factoring in they are a key part of where we are league wise?
  5. Sanderson signing. Eustace knows him, signed him made him captain at Birmingham. Championship experience. Can play right back aswell.
  6. Forshaw is a squad player at best and replacing Baker cos when Travis is back fit, it will be him and Tronstad in centre midfield first choice. Also it appears from Nicko's comments on his own Patreon site, Eustace is the one behind the signing. Also 2 weeks ago we weren't looking for a centre midfield signing. Our focus has to be now and present not looking for the next 2 or 3 years in terms of signings. We have a good chance of the playoffs if we make the right signings in this window. bringing in either of those position signings were never going to happen early in the window. They never do. I don't see many strikers out there who we can sign on loan making much of impact and I would like us to buy a quality striker for £3m plus but I don't see that happening either. I don't agree squad fillers can wait cos you sign players when they come available and when the deal can be done by both parties. So you know for sure he wouldn't pick Forshaw over others regardless of the budget? what a decent one to be back up player to Travis and Tronstad?
  7. Moyes set to be announce on 2 and half years contract over the weekend
  8. Tronstad looked tired last game. Rest him. Batth and Hyam ideally I would rested both. If we had another centre back available or a signing at centre back in
  9. I understand that thanks but I think you are reading far too much into Eustace's comments. I think those 3 players would improve us
  10. Not my point, see my next post. Batth as a reserve at Norwich last season or Gestede at Cardiff. Has Eustace told you he is getting pissed off. Clearly Eustace wants signings in early but its not happened That's wasnt my point, its think those 3 players would improved us as a squad. Just need a striker now
  11. We seen a fake link to Luis Saurez.. Also I think he is putting pressure on to get quality players in he wants. He wants promotion and he thinks we can achieve this, this season. Time to back him with 3 quality signings he wants
  12. Poku would. Schlupp given his experience and still playing at PL level. Kitching probably would. But they will hundreds of players we scout over the months but Eustace from his comments wants experience and players ready to make an impact from minute 1 of joining the club.
  13. If they had any sense they go Dan Ashworth
  14. No patterns of play, Not much quality in the final third doesn't help.
  15. Didn't get much involved in anything to be honest. On that evidence, I wouldnt be signing him
  16. revised team selection Toth Hyam McFadzean Litherland Brittain JRC Buckley Hedges Weimann Dolan Leonard
  17. Looking at the betting, he isn't. Its Wycombe Matt Bloomfield, Steve Cooper and Neil Harris in the top 3 in the betting on Sky Bet
  18. If it keep them up and its job done, but its steady experience PL manager. It will be interesting whether its a short term contract or longer deal. Also interesting what type of structure the new owners bring in and who will be their director of football/Sporting director cos their current one is out of contract.
  19. Its no surprise that WBA having come after Eustace tbh. I always felt they would go foreign and all 3 favourites are out of work head coaches
  20. No surprised Dyche was sacked with new owners coming in and always likely to want their own appointment in place, but Everton just felt like it was club going nowhere with takeover rumours and Dyche doing his best. Their squad need signings in midfield and wide. Looks like Moyes is going to coming in according to reports in Athletic and SSN
  21. didn't Broughton and JDT dismissed that
  22. Jones, the striker from Peterbrough is starting for them tonight in the FA cup. game live on BBC I player
  23. Would be good signing. Can play 2 positions. Can play left back. Let's make it happen
