Bennett plays his heart out for this club. can play a number of different positions which you need at times in football. Disagree on Conway Rothwell played wide 11 times last season including at Ewood Park against us. Plus Mowbray mention him as inverted winger. Armstrong played wide during his time here mostly The Kent rumour came from Nixon and he was right about us signed Davenport permanent. my team would be for the 1st game. I haven't including any potential signings but Depending who we sign my line up could very well change Raya Nyambe Lenihan Mulgrew Williams Smallwood Davenport Bennett Dack Rothwell Graham great shout. would be good wing back option for us. I would be deffo looking at him Chris Martin's wages would be too much for us Marriott would cost over 4 million and far too much for us. Remind me of a Jordan Rhodes type of player

We have Bennett, Conway, Rothwell, Either potential Kent or Chapman plus Armstrong(if he returns here) and Samuel. I wouldnt against signing both Chapman and Kent. Give us plenty of attacking threat. I think we need another centre back if we going to play 3 at the back..

Very pleased with the Davenport deal. Mowbray got his target and for a good fee if reports are right. From everything ive said its seems we got a good player. 4 year contract is a statement aswell. If we could sign Ryan Kent or Chapman I would be very happy. I would expect Tomlinson to leave on loan. Lets hope we can sign Armstrong and centre back. Then imo our signings would be done apart from maybe 1 loan. Good to see there is money to spend aswell

Bennett was excellent season whatever position he played. Samuel scored 5 goals by end of November and Graham only had 2 goals then but Graham good form started and he never looked back. Samuel never won his place back regular and struggled with form and Confidence. Gladwin contributed enough last season. Where did I say this?

Yes I'm happy Mowbray so far. Rovers have been careful and not over pay for players like Bauer who Charlton wanted 2 million for a player with 12 months left on contract is outrageous and pleased we didn't pay it. sure they been others but nothing is leaking and im pleased about that. Look at Mowbray comments and he said he would be sub at the start of season and work his way into the 1st team or that's the way I read it. We don't know how Mowbray will set up or play. He could play Bennett and Rothwell wide with Dack in hole in 4-2-3-1 formation or play 3-4-1-2 formation we don't know. I have suggested players that will improve us and before you carry on this assumption why not wait to see who we signed 1st please. On Samuel I did answered your points but you didn't answer my questions which were how many starts did he have after his last goal and in any games did he start or play up front and how many chances did he have to score? Whiitingham fitness and his ability to get up and down this season would be my question

not a player I would be looking at but Edwards and Baldwin would be my choices from there. Edwards bring skill and pace. Baldwin available for 250k as he has 12 months left on his contract so on the transfer list

I should have added more context to my previous comments some of the games have been boring and not interested for a neutral fan. When I said brilliant I meant in terms of the atmosphere of the games, no trouble or racism chanting as I expect and the stadiums look brilliant and Russia as a country deserves credit for the stadium and the fact they has been no trouble or racism

I enjoyed some of the games Ive watched listened. when the world cup games have been on I'm either working as I worked nights or asleep after night shift or travelling to work. I can watched some games at work via my phone but Cant all the time.

wasn't interested in the Checkatrade games at all. Yes I was there for the Burnley game but that was against a Premier league team not a league 1 or championship team. Mowbray has been very busy in terms of recruitment and talking to clubs and agents about players. this is very slow process and people have to understand it takes time. Mowbray has his targets and he will busy persuading them. we signed 3 or 4 at this stage I think. I think Mowbray has been busy over there answering the phone and talking to agents and recruitment team. I wouldn't be worried at all if we didn't sign players within the next 10 to 14 days. its very important we sign the right player and not over pay in terms of transfer fees or agent fee or player wages. Mowbray does have his targets and I would imagine we are negotiating with clubs over signings but its a slow process at this stage of the season The transfer window for championship clubs has been slow and the last a couple of days its pick up abit. I suspect Rovers and Mowbray are being careful to sign the right players and not wasting the budget he has got. Plus other clubs will only a player go when they have sign a replacement to replace them.

But your first sentence is a load of rubbish as I have watched other games like Germany losing to South Korea and Mexico plus other games live and I will listed them just for you Stuart Watched the opening game and enjoyed it. But didn't watched the rest Group A games as they weren't interesting enough. Watched Spain and Portugal game but not another game in this group B. In Group C watched the opening games. France and Australia game were boring and Denmark and Peru game were boring. the last game between France and Denmark game was embarrassing In Group D, watched the Croatia and Argentina game and it was a great game but didn't any of the rest of games in this group. In Group E. watched Switzerland Serbia game which I enjoyed and Brazil Costa Rica game was boring and awful to watched. didn't see the rest of the games In Group F watched every game in this group and enjoyed every game. Ive seen the games Ive wanted too live if allow to. Plus watched highlights of lots of games. Most of the games you mention werent good quality and very boring apart from South Korea and Mexico both beating Germany, Spain Portugal game plus a couple of others
