I understand what you are saying, But its clear that Eustace wants experience and why we have been link with a range of players like Krul, Ruddy, Dykes, Cooper and McLoughlin. I would move for Hladky and why we haven't move for him its mystifying. Its no brainer for me. I can understand why Eustace wants Dykes. I would deffo bring in McLoughlin. That fee is again a no brainer for me. If we were to bring in Hladky, McLoughlin and Dykes I would be happy with that. Still need a right winger and another centre back Barrett is coming in as third choice keeper. Eustace clearly wants a senior keeper and that's why we have been linked with Krul and Ruddy

its 5 signings with maybe 2 more depending on what we do at left back and Garrett. I would say centre back who can play left back also. So it covers that. So its 5 signings wanted with maybe 6 if we loan Garrett out which I don't think we will Interesting. I know nothing about him. I yep! 🤣 This is the market we are actually in. We have risks in the market unless we can bring in someone like Dykes or someone loan striker from a PL club. We want experience and its costs less in the overseas market The link works as I update it after my post

Thanks Gareth for everything you have done as England manager and the fact you have led us to our most successful era since 1966 and the fact you have changed the mentality within the squad and show great man management skills with the players. Bellingham and Pickford comments says everything for me. I don't think Howe will take it at this stage of his career, same as Gary O'Neil. Few years too early. My shortlist would be Lee Carsley, Graham Potter and Eddie Howe. Sam Allardyce has said it should be Englishman as the next England manager and he is damn right excellent statement Wrong. Their CEO Darren Eagles is very close to Howe and Howe is close to the owners of the club. Yes 2 of Howe's supporters have just sold their shares in the club and left the board. -
If you seen the Stanley game live and a friendly highlights, JRC has been playing from the right wing but when we attacking he moves into the 8/10 role and Brittain moves in the right wing position from right back and Pickering took around meaning we got 3 at the back. Similar to what Southgate did during this tournament with the formation when attacking and defending. Sigurdsson was our second joint goal scorer. I don't agree, We should be bringing in our talent young players into the first team squad like Duru, Gent, O'Riordan, Tyjon. They are ready to play their part in this season first team squad. Add those 4 players to our squad to make it up 24 to 27 man squad the squad Keepers - Pears, new keeper, Michalski Right back - Brittain, Duru Centre back - Hyam, Carter, O'Riordan, 2 new signings left back - Pickering, Gent centre midfielder - Travis, Buckley, Tronstad, Garrett Right winger - JRC, Hedges number 10 - Szmodics, Sigurdsson Left wing - Dolan, new signing Striker - New signing, Gallagher, Leonard, Tyjon. So that's 26 players in that squad. Yes you could a couple of more signings to that squad if you wanted.
-
might aswell get rid of the academy with your spending plans. Sigurdsson is seen as number 10 given Eustace's comments on the club website. JRC is seen as a winger by Eustace given how he has played. For me, We need a keeper, centre back x 2, winger with pace, striker who can score goals, centre midfielder depending on what we are doing with Garrett and possible left back.

No, they aren't idiot at all but its their opinion and they deserved to have it respected. You make want to carry on with the name calling like you do every single week. No I don't need to justify my opinion and long held belief that the England national team manager should be Englishman. It has always been my opinion and always will be. Yet again, its always the typical rumours when we don't win, lets go foreign and it will be all better. Its annoyed greatly, It that what countries like Germany, France, or Spain will do. No! Spain after the last world cup very quickly appointed their under 21 manager as the Senior national team manager. Carsley is English simple as. Guehi is British. He moved here since he was 1 year old and has come through the England set up from under 16 level to Senior. No the list isn't depressing at all and its you that finds the list depressing and yet again what to go foreign again, Is that what Spain would do? no they didn't. Why should we go foreign? who you going for? Its a very simple question so who is on your 3 man shortlist? I am more than happy to name my 3 man English shortlist. Man Utd wanted him as head coach there. I think you make some logically points about Southgate being more suited to a technical director or Director of football role than club manager. Cos it the English manager job. Do other major nations like Spain, Italy, Germany, France go foreign with their national team manager. Spain after the world cup in Qatar, They shocked people by going for their under 21 manager as national team manager and less than 2 years since that decision they have won the Euros. -
Eustace has been more than clear he wants 4 or 5 quality signings this summer. I have been more than clear on my opinion on Duru whilst you don't want to give him a chance in our first team, So I will ask this very simple how many signings do you want and what positions please this summer(not how many you think we will sign)? No manager or head coach gets exactly what they want even at City.

Eastham should have been release a year or 2 ago. He needs to be playing first team football. He would be decent signing for league 2 or national league team

Sir Geoff Hurst wants to see Gareth Southgate stay on as England manager. England have now lost in back-to-back European Championship finals and are still awaiting a first trophy since 1966. Hurst famously scored a hat-trick in that World Cup final and joined talkSPORT to voice his opinion. He said: “Should Gareth Southgate keep his job? For me, the answer is yes. I'm not necessarily sure whether England will decide then. I think they may look like they want to keep him, but it's more like what Gareth decides. “Gareth has managed the national side over 6 or 7 years with what he's gone through. So it wouldn't surprise me at all if he decides that at this point in his career, he decides that it is enough.” -

Gav, I don't and deffo with a pinch of salt. No way should we be appointing a foreign manager and its another typical reaction lets go foreign again even after the massive failures Sven and Capello. What other major footballing nation appoints a foreign coach, Spain don't, France don't, Germany don't, Argentina don't, Italy don't, Brazil don't. We deffo either. I hope Southgate takes time out and think whether he wants to stay on, If he does then he should for me. His record speaks for itself and best results in tournaments since 1966. If he does, then we got a decision and who would be interest in the job. For me, It should be Englishman and that's always been my view and Won't change either Ferdinand was suggested by some people on various social media sites. Players do not need coaching but managing and have a good tactical brain Carsley is English. He was born in Birmingham. -
No I can't but watching by team isn't going to death is it like a car accident could. No I don't like the fact we aren't spending money this money, But I have accept and we try to find the best players we can for our budget we have. You accept the decision and do your best like you would at work. I think over the last 12 months we could have made best signings than we did last summer like striker signing Look at my original post
-
I didn't mentioned in any of my posts Waggott, the owners or Suhail guys. I perfectly summarise those 2 seasons and why we didn't get a playoff place which had nothing to those mentioned above. Undav didnt want. Last summer we didn't recruited well enough like a quality striker instead of signing Ennis and Telalovic. Could have signed one with signing another winger or left back.

I understand what you are saying about Southgate. I agree Carsley would be the most sensible appointment for us to make. Rio talks a great game but can he coach and manage it. I think Lampard will get it personally. Suits the FA Approach. I think I have already said and the post above that explains this. -
Uunder JDT, we wanted Undav who came for talks and didn't want to come. GB didn't have a plan B Option after that. Mowbray didn't want a striker in January in his last season as it didn't fit how he was playing. He could have signed Maja who went Stoke or Delap on loan from Man Ciyy who Mowbray turned down. Nothing to do with Budgets

I seen last night some people suggesting Rio Ferdinand for the England job. Lineker suggested Lampard for the job the other day Appointing Lee Carsley would be similar move to what Spain did after the world cup appointing their under 21 manager as the national manager. I can't see Howe or O'Neil leaving their PL job. Potter is the odds on favourite for the job right now with the bookies I would stick with Southgate if he wants to continue. He has done a great job and he deserves everyone respect for the job he has done -

I'm annoyed and angry with certain people keep belittling Southgate's achievements with this utter and complete nonsense that we have favourable games or luck of draws in competitions. It's really annoying like we control it we don't. the draw is the draw. Simple as. Still has to perform on the pitch and win But performed better than 6 former managers before him like Hoddle, Keegan, Sven, McClaren, Capello and Hodgson. -
