  1. The PL and EFL tv deals are completely different things. The PL tv deals is sold in 6 or 7 different packages with any TV company able to buy them. EFL has the chance to make every game available through the DAZN. Wonder what you think if that deal had happened. The EFL clubs wanted more money for that more games were needed plus League 1 and 2 clubs wanted more TV exposure. Maybe EFL should allow games on Saturday and Sunday at 8pm like La Liga does? Sky have made a massive investment in the EFL and it's clubs. I watched Stanley game cos it's local team. Thats all. It's not fault of clubs or Sky either cos rail companies don't have the drivers or trains to put on extra ones on. Most people will travel by cars or coaches to these local games. Anyone who is travelling to this game this morning, I recommend to anyone you park near St Gregory Catholic church on their roads near there. Then after that head towards to Ribchester or Junction 31a to get on the M6 then the M65..much easier journey back
  2. She loves watching football actually. dinner will be cooking in the slow cooker for several hours
  3. not at all Josh. I will be home in 30 mins after the game finishes. Then watch PL football and a movie with the Mrs.
  4. from parking there for years. I work in Preston and one of my mates lives around 5 minutes walk distance and I just park outside his house. Car is safe and secure. Then I can be home in 30 mins from Deepdale by avoiding Blackpool road and deepdale retail park traffic
  5. Yes he did. Doesn't look fit to me and the game by pass him
  6. Given I work nights It would be perfect really but not for everyone. People worked a vast amount different hours and shifts nowadays. What the FA got to do with the TV deal between Sky and EFL? They were a great number of Sunday dinner time kick offs last season There were 7 EFL games on this dinner time. That is what EFL and Sky wanted to do. EFL had to put more games for TV to get their revenue they wanted for TV rights. Its gives people option of watching different games like I did this dinner time when I watched Stanley vs Port Vale game instead of watching Sunderland vs Boro game
  7. Not everyone fits into one category but Public transport companies could have helped by putting an extra train or 2, instead of cancelling 9.11am train or extra bus plus Rovers have provide transport for fans aswell. Yes Some people want a few beers which unless they are in Preston at 9/10am tomorrow you aren't getting that. You knew when the game was being played so arrangements could be put in place by fans. Wouldn't have a clue about the trains to be honest but its been problems for years the lack of trains for away to Blackpool and PNE away in past years or not putting more than 2 carriages on for Why is the shortage of staff given the wage of a train driver?
  8. Wharton didn't look fit at all. Without Olise in the team They don't look the same team
  9. Everyone has know about this kick off for ages, plus so have the transport companies who should have put on extra trains. Also doesn't when train companies are cancelling trains at last minutes or road works happening. Plus more people will drive and there is plenty of space near the stadium to park. The fact of the matter with yourself is you are against this games being moved for this new TV deal which the EFL clubs wanted.
  10. It wouldn't surprised me if Erol Bulut got sack at Cardiff. It wouldn't surprised if Danny Rohl's job at Sheffield Wednesday is under some threat in the future with the owner they have there.
  11. The ref for this game is Matt Donohue
  12. We need to keep in Rovers hands and we can used Terrace store anyway without Rovers store being outsourcing to a third party. I remember the Sport direct days and it was bloody awful
  13. You don't the money Abbey, you are millionaire with private jet flying to every Rovers and Broncos game 😂👍🏻
  14. I work with a few PNE supporters and they are curiously optimistic but nervous about our attacking options. They keep asking where and how we sign Yuki Ohashi.
  15. Cut the pointless nations league, stupid champions league format and made it back straight knockout competition with all UEFA competitions and scrap this stupid FIFA world club competition
  16. Woodman, Storey, Lindsay and Bowler I guess will start against us. All started last night.
  17. Yes we were wrong. @Parsonbluewas right. I knew Eustace was a good coach before he joined us. He got the job last season and this season he has made us more attacking and made subs that actually have an impact
  18. With all fairness I wasn't in favour at all of Gestede being our head of football operations. He has made positive encouraging start to his team here Massive call by Walters, let's see if it's the right decision by him
  19. I think he has good opportunity here. You can see what he has done with the team, team spirit at great level and the players and coaching staff are together as one.
  20. never said he was quick but what I said he ain't slow either.
  21. he slow? really? what his first goal from Saturday and he kept up with Dolan and in front of him? quite slow he ain't. He is like a Paul Dickov in terms of work rate and closing down their defenders whilst have better finishing quality than Dickov did
  22. I would give Hedges and Hyam new contracts right now. Hyam a new 2 year contract plus 1 year add on. Hedges a 2 year contract. On Weimann I would give him a new 1 year contract come January. His fitness is there, experience and knowledge is what we need We could well go in for him, but by then Tyjon and Leonard will have played some games, So maybe we might need another striker signing.
  23. that's fair enough I totally agree there it is poisoned chalice at Stoke and the ownership seem very trigger happy there which surprises me when they stick with Pulis and Hughes for so long
