looking back now(using what we now know and hindsight), We should have part ways as JDT offered his resignation cos the original plan changed and what the targets were last summer. Every head coach/managers will always want more players but clubs have to live within budgets and head coach must understand that. I don't think we ever look for left back last summer. Our commercial side is poor, lack of sponsors around the ground, shirt sponsor, etc. I agree with you that Venkys don't reinvest the money we earned from player sales and that is where the problem is. They don't understand to work a proper football model and how we do it properly We know we need goalscorer striker. That has to be Eustace's number 1 priority this summer of our transfer business. I would like to see this has our first summer signing

That is what I would like Rovers to do when we can allow it. I came up with a plan before about us using some of it towards Transfer funds, increase the wage budget, use some of it to improve training ground and academy facilities No I don't think we are well run club as we should be for a club like Rovers and they are number of problems including Commercial side, The atmosphere within the stadium on match days, poor food options or drink options, before this season, the ticket prices for under 16's, Also the lack of communication from our CEO since the season ends towards the fans base and what the plan is for the summer and Eustace going forward. Our CEO should have done at least interview with Rovers TV and communicate with us the fans. We see some improve with stadium music with @Miller11 being involve and trying to improve the stadium atmosphere

Of course we could improve the club commercial like non match days events or finding a better shirt sponsor than we couldn't have. Yes when we make sales then half of that money should be re-invested in the team and rest towards paying the season debts off. Just excuse that. So Hardie and Connolly wouldn't improve our forward line really? Both scored more goals than Gallagher did. Miyoshi would improve us. Well maybe blame JDT and GB for thinking Batty was ready then? What is the wage budget for last season then? We don't reinvested cos the owners don't want to keep covering the losses each season. We turn down bids for one player. that's it

Have you renew or not? -
Cos our losses are far too much and we rely on the owners money to pay the season debt off each season, Exactly why the commercial side of the club needs improving. We lose 20m a season still yet the owners can only put 39m in for 3 seasons hence why Armstrong was sold and the STC need to be sold to make sure we didn't go into transfer embargo. In my opinion, Yes they would. Hardie scored 12 goals in 40 games this season and Connolly scored 8 goals in 28 games this season so they have scored more than Gallagher 3 goals in 24 games. Hardie and Connolly have out performed Gallagher massively. Drameh is from Leeds, he was only on loan at Birmingham. You complained/moan about my ideas/suggestions but you come up zero ideas/suggestions on getting good players in. I don't think we rely far too much at all, if you are good enough you play them. I would play Leonard next season, he has shown his worth for this team, doesn't need a loan. He has the same goals as Gallagher in less games. Batty should have come through last season and why he didn't I don't know. Do you know why?

You have already answered your point that Waggott as been here for a number of years and the owners keep him here. I have been on here posting that I would like a new CEO who is commercial driven and understand the fan base more. What more do you want? You can get good players in for low fee, free transfers and loan market for that 5m budget. I can get you plenty of suggest players who would improve us like a new keeper, 2 new strikers, Right winger and centre back plus a back up right back? Keeper - John Ruddy (free) Right back - Cody Drameh (free) Centre back - Josh Knight (free) Right winger - Koji Miyoshi (£2m) Strikers - Ryan Hardie (£2.5m) Ryan Hardie - Plymouth Argyle 21/22 (youtube.com) - Aaron Connolly (free) So that's 6 signings we can sign and we improve our squad there
-
We already have a head of recruitment in Sean Kimberley who in charge of scouting, Sean Kimberley makes Rovers return | rovers.co.uk Coventry sold their best players and reinvested that money into the squad revamp last summer. Boro sold their best striker and goalscorer to Ajax or QPR sold their best keeper last summer to championship team. So clubs do sell their best players and sign good replacements.

Rubbish, we are very good at developing players over the years as we have shown and we are continue to do so. We aren't over reliance on academy graduates at all, but we actually bring through good talent players good enough for Championship football. Garrett is decent enough and improving. We have some good young players coming through like Tyjon, Atcheson, Gilsenan and Duru just to names some exciting prospects I think Campbell would improve our forward line, Maybe he just need the right head coach to get the best out of him. On Wildsmith, He is 28 years old and just be part of promotion winner team and kept 20 clean sheets in 40 games and available on free. I don't know alot about him but if we have small budget and we want to spend most of that money on quality goalscorer striker then him being a free might be worth a gamble. On Murphy, I would look at him as squad player and replacing Sigurdsson who I think will go given he only has 12 months left on his contract.
-
Depends what this new Recruitment guy is in charge of and what's his role is. exactly. People will choose to be the way they are but I think we spend some money, But more importantly we need to improve the squad whether its low fee signings or free transfers or loans or combined of the 3(which I think is likely)

high turnover of staff? really, Some of the staff have been there for 20 years plus. Footballing staff, there will always been natural turn over in staff for various. Also we had the same CEO for 6 years plus, Cheston was here for around 10 years and club secretary since our relegation from PL to championship. Yes we have just replace with experience people.

Well, if you are interest then pay the 15m asking price)(would my asking price would be) or go away Leeds will do a fire sale this summer with Summerville, Gnonto, etc all leaving plus any of their loan players. Its a mess there -

I agree it is a positive sign. With it being payday for some fans today, and in the coming days I think we see more sales. Like I said the under 18's prices are cheap as chips tbh. Good move by Rovers and getting under 18's move into Rovers and football -
thanks for the reply
