2024/25 Season Tickets
chaddyrovers replied to TheRevAshton's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Like I said to Wheeton Blue, the games will either be play on Friday night, Saturday dinner time, Saturday 3pm and Sunday dinner time(Elliott Jackson's comments on his Arte Et Labore podcast). Maybe odd evening Saturday game. Plus any midweek or Bank Holiday games. I can get to all no problems just like I have done for games over years. My job or my family life doesn't interfere with me attending games. -
Cos we have to used what we know and what the media is reporting. I could turn it around on you an asked you similar questions but I won't. Eustace and Rovers have to manage whatever we have budget. Its could be zero transfer budget or few millions pounds budget(we simply don't know at this stage) but we need a goalscoring number 9, keeper, right winger plus others positions/replacements for players who might leave so your budget need to cover all of those signings.

who is your manager? -
Yes I was unhappy the way it ended but looking back(under hindsight and what we know now compare to then) it really started in the summer 2023 when budgets was cut after the first 3 signings and money had to be raised, JDT wasn't happy that the club didn't back him with more quality signings that summer, He wouldn't change tactics and he stuck his principles(wrongly looking back with hindsight), after McGuire failed transfer and the QPR post interview his days was numbered(again looking back with Hindsight). Like I have said before on here I agree with Paul Mani's post https://www.brfcs.com/forums/topic/36874-the-summer-transfer-window-press-submit/?do=findComment&comment=2594443 here, that Rovers senior management lost faith in GB and JDT cos match results and signings, Waggott lined up Eustace(very quickly replace JDT if you remember correctly) and after JDT rant post QPR game he was goner. Eustace was appointed that night, Yes Venkys are massive problem here, I wish they would appoint different CEO who will improve the club commercially, find a better shirt sponsor and better communicate with the fans(Like why hasn't Waggott done a end of the season interview with local media like Winter at Blackpool and Ridsdale at PNE have?) but Venkys haven't made the club and its fanbase pay off their own Bank Loan that they borrowed to buy the club like the Glazers have done at Man Utd.

How much are your prices and what are likelihood catering options? Have you ever been to Radcliffe home ground? -
John Eustace - our head coach

Who manager of? Just playing it now. Currently 5th -
Ince and Coyle for sure. Bowyer and Mowbray time had run the course. JDT outburst after QPR game was always going end after that way I think Utd problems are deeper than just Ten Hag who has won 2 trophies in 2 seasons. Yes overspend on some signings but that why you sporting structure in place like a proper DoF like Ashworth not Murtough. Who gives Casemiro a 5 year deal? I think Ten Hag need another sesson and some good signings. See what he does then.
-
I agree we need experience but we also need to sign younger players plus bring through two or 3 of our under 21's who are ready for first team His first choice for keeper signing and getting it done and dust early in the summer. I don't know if Ruddy has had poor season or not, or whether he would be good signing or poor signing
-
Deffo no style there yet but that's the problem. I have said my opinions on United and what needs fixing there firstly before head coach role is look at. From what I read last night its seems Ipswich McKenna will take over which I think is a strange choice myself. I think Brighton move would be more logically and the right next step
-
FA cup top scorer this season is Blackburn Rovers Sammie Szmodics
-
well well, City simply didn't turn up and Ten Hag got his tactics spot on there. Will they sack him now or stick with him?
-
fair enough.
-
McNair is someone I mentioned to yourself about us signing. Drameh would also be decent enough depending how Eustace feels about Duru and whether he is ready for first team action here(I don't know). Cole is 29 years old and scored one goal for Barnsley in the championship 3 years ago. Galloway I can understand given he can play 2 positions and gives you options during a game if you want to 3 or 4 at the back during the game Bialkowski is 37 years old before the season starts, experience but same age as Ruddy(who I think we will sign)

Is Ipswich manager McKenna replacing Ten Hag? what I was reading yesterday
-
of course.
-
I just don't get it myself.
