  1. All depends what his role involves and he directly reports to. I'm hoping we get a good appointment
  2. Did Venkys sack him themselves or did Waggott and Pasha recommend his removal? The reason Wharton was linked with so many teams was his quality. Ashworth personally came to games to scout him.. Did we ever look at him? Or did Football insider get the wrong Rovers team in the article
  3. Is he unsure? He is unsure who the guy is was the last part I seen he said on X I agree there. Exactly Nixon. He has spot on with 3 bits of info in the last 3 weeks.
  4. Nixon has said we will replace him. Given he has spot on with Silvester going, Baker in(both part of his story at the time) reported GB was leaving more than a week before we announce it. Let's see if it happens.
  5. What makes you say this? Do you not think the whole point of getting rid GB was to better DoF and with experience of doing the role beforehand Oh well. If LT rubbish then it must be true. Nixon was spot on Silvester going, Baker coming in, GB leaving. He has said GB will be replace so let's wait and what happens shortly. Is he better than we got? Where is this suggestion he is abit of a tear away and questions as to his weight?
  6. Very true why Rovers need to lower the prices for ST for these reasons as games will be move and some ST won't be able to attend them. Also make kids under 12 ST free. Personally I would give each Kids ST a free hat, scarf and gloves set aswell. That is correct
  7. or someone close to head of recruitment or Eustace?
  8. Depends on the person situation, If you can't make midweek games then the occasional weekend game then its would most likely be cheaper to buy your games separately I never questioned Cuppliance commitment to supporting Rovers, players or the head coach did I? My problem was about making Waggott life easier by not buying one. On Sky, Its the EFL wanted more money for TV rights so it exactly why Rovers should offset the prices by using some of that money to lower prices for ST and match day prices. On your comment about whether a season ticket is value for money, is down to the person and will they attend all games/most games regardless of them being moved or on TV. down to each person situation
  9. So he actually wants a new keeper tho if they are on the list. For me, The main 2 priority positions we need signing is striker(maybe 2) and keeper then after that the priorities after that is right winger, centre back and left back
  10. wrong, no one is mentioning about being a superfan(pointless comment btw), but about supporting the players on the pitch and the head coach, improving the match day atmosphere and growing the fanbase by lowering prices and getting . I get the point about Waggott but for me, not attending actually makes it worse cos the budget will continue to be cut and meaning worse players signings and relegation. Is that what people really want? I don't blame anyone pick and choosing their games for various like midweek games for example cos of work and family reasons or for financial reasons. I wouldn't called anyone for that and I know several fans who face those situations. This is why I want cheaper season tickets and cheaper match day tickets making it more affordable for people/families who are struggling financial enabling them to attend games and increased match day attendance and atmosphere
  11. What is the priority list then? do we not want an experience keeper signing?
  12. Cos I totally disagree with you Is that why he just won player of the season this season. and both have improved under Pep gone backwards? haha, 2 league titles and 90 goals in 97 games. Oh yeah really gone backwards playing playing in the best league in the world and in champions League I disagree it is easy to buy players for specific roles with Pep team cos he actually improve each player like Rodri, Stones, Ake, Foden, etc.
  13. Really? Pep Guardiola is great coach and very good at getting his players to play their roles and understand what he wants from him. I would say Man City great attacking football but want to control the game by keeping possession of the ball. Pep admitted this week that he didn't even know who Ortega was before they were after signing him but what a brilliant second choice keeper who City sign him on a free transfer I also wouldn't sign all the best players either. Would you say that Ake, Akanji, Rodri were the best players in their position? Look at the development of players under his stewardship like Foden and the different roles he played under him
  14. why does it make Waggott life easy? what about supporting the players and head coach in games?
  15. Plymouth has just put their Season tickets on sale from Tuesday https://www.pafc.co.uk/news/202425-argyle-season-ticket-information
  16. Happy Birthday Uncle Jack, He would have been 95 years old today. Thanks for memories and I will never forget Rovers winning the PL in 1994/95 season
  17. You make a very good point and as long as we properly scouted them and Eustace wants them here no problem. There is some very good talented players in league 1 and 2 who could perform at Championship level and improve our squad Hopefully he does sign a new contract he is on lesser wage All depends on the contract he has been offered and what the medical department says about Leg and whether he can play regular football now(I'm not professional medical trained person). I want him on a low wage with incentive bonus on the number of games he can play. If that can't be done then don't sign him.
  18. Undav has been excellent this season. As for a replacement, I would go for Harvey Knibbs from Reading who can score goals, assists and press from the front, but we need more goals from all areas and goalscorer striker or 2 would help aswell
  19. I wouldn't be surprise if Brighton went for either I can't accept human error when these officials have VAR and still don't make the right decision. Even Klopp has said get rid of VAR cos we don't use it right, fans are fed up with lack of communication within the stadium and how long these decisions take to actual decision. My problem is the level of competence Referees have at Championship level and how they can't make simple and clear decisions. One of the best referee we had at this level was Australian Jarred Gillett now in the PL ref
  20. I agree on Barnes. He was ahead of Phillips in the match day squad until his injury, 2 years later, he needs regular first team football now and He will find a club, wouldn't surprise if someone like Stanley or Morecambe offered his contract and that chance for first team football. I agree with giving McFadzean a new contract. Gives us experience in the squad. On Fleck, shows that Eustace wanted him stay. I hope its a very low wage contract with performance and game time related bonus type of contract cos he hasn't played regular for a season No one for me. They didn't turned up as a squad, they froze on the pitch. Oxford much deserved win I would deffo take Connolly here. Its a free and worth offering him 3 years contract, only 24 years and got 8 goals in 28 games last season Aaron Connolly’s 10 Hull City Goals! (youtube.com)
  21. I wonder if De Zerbi is leaving to take over a club in Italy and that's why he is leaving. No surprised already Brighton have idea who they want like McKenna and Kompany
  22. Yes GB did which shows what GB thinks of owners, Waggott and Pasha, and who wanted rid of him. Plus his role from the first season seems to be reduced in the second season. Just imagine if we would have sign Undav and I'm sure he was the striker we lack for last 3 seasons, we would have made the playoffs for sure. Question is why didn't that happened? not impress with JDT or GB or just didn't want to move up North. Its an area that need to address this summer and Eustace knows this aswell Also last summer budget change didn't help the situation and it caused us problems with who we wanted to sign striker wise I agree with @Paul Manipost he made on Friday night in the transfer thread that Waggott and Pasha decided that they changed personal in the Head coach and DoF roles during the January window. JDT rant post QPR game was when they knew it could done after such a performance and QPR battered us then JDT rant meant his days was numbered. (looking back with hindsight)
