Read the thread properly I would say the squad are quite different but similar quality wise IMO. Yes Mowbray has rebuilt the club, put in place a proper scouting system, etc. After the Coyle episode alot of fans fell out of love with the club. I was close myself. So Mowbray has bought the fans back to the club and made it feel like our club. Actually if you read the thread properly I said yesterday that I said I would give him the season. Miss that one didn't you?

Alec Stewart withdrawal from the process due to family reasons. Gary Kirsten was arrogant in the interview process and wanted x amount of time off each year and missing parts of yours. The best players in country shouldn't need much coaching as they have been picked for the country cos they are best we got. You have overlooked at county set up for 4 days cricket that is poor to say the least. The pitches aren't made for 4 day cricket. Played the format at the wrong time of the year. That's been the problems for many years. But the same old people overlooked these people. We are going to accept that we don't have many world class players any more. Blackpool are in the similar league position as last season. Sunderland seems a poison chalice of a club. And not their current owner Stewart Donald wants to sell the club now. The owners have backed Mowbray and his plans. He has alot of credit with the owners and they seems a very high level of trust between them. Yes We enter the Bristol City game with a fully fit squad and since then we have pick up a number of injuries to players.

He is a victim of his own attitude that he is willing to play anywhere for the club and wont complain about it.

Yes I would agree that Mowbray's recruitment at times has been poor. We are right back and centre back short in the squad as I said in the summer after the window chose. I have said several times that I wouldn't have signed Gallagher this summer. I said where I would have spent the money and that would have been on the defence. Grayson time at Bradford was poor. I'm not sure his time at Blackpool is exactly good. Spoke to couple of Blackpool fans recently and they aren't convince he will take them up. Some of his signings haven't worked out but they are happy to give him the season and judge then

Travis hasn't played right back in over 2 years and NEVER at first team level. He is a centre midfielder not a full back. Nyambe and Williams are supposedly injured according to Mowbray post match comments. I hope Evans is fit so he can play centre mid with Travis. A partnership that has produced the best results for us

We have only 2 fit centre backs for Forest game, Nyambe, Williams are injured I believe. So we have no fit back up centre back or right back. That's a priority for me. Graham only touch the ball 7 times against Huddersfield. I would start Gallagher and Brereton against Forest and tell them to produce the same performance as they did against Brentford

Jones recruitment at Stoke was bizarre for me. Grayson recent jobs have been failed and at Sunderland he was awful. He did signed Jason Steele for them
