  1. Well yes I can. I havent read the article yet but will do shortly
  2. I wonder how he coach without his trusted number 2 there at Reading. Mark Hughes time at Ewood Park was special days for me I think one of the worst thing he did was walk out of Rovers. You are correct when you say he was next big thing. I think he made too many mistakes taking jobs like QPR or Man City.. Its interesting he never looked to manage overseas at all. Never seen a link or owt either.
  3. Cant see Hughes getting another Premier League job now. Only way he manage agsin in Premier League is by getting a team promote.
  4. Mark Bowen at Reading as sporting Director. Be interesting to see Who is on his staff there?
  5. Mark Hughes being linked with Reading to take over from Gomes. Look like Gomes has been sacked! Mark Bowen former Mark Hughes number 2 is the Sporting Director there https://twitter.com/ChronCourtney
  6. Very few of them around these days.
  7. So if we appoint like Philip Giles from Brentford or someone like Ex Leicester Steve Walsh then?
  8. Woild you like to see Rovers employ a sporting director/head coach structure?
  9. What rumours? I havent see or hear on them. Can you explain more and what these rumours came from?
  10. Like I said on Saturday I couldn't complain if Mowbray was sack. I explained my views on Forest and QPR games and how we played. and who I think our key players. I deffo wouldn't say Mowbray is lacking passion, drive or heart. I did suggest a number of possible targets. I have admit I don't know who I would appoint if Mowbray was to go.
  11. You would hope Barnsley have an idea who they want before sacking Stendal. It would be interesting who they appoint. They seem to have a plan of buying young players and developing players. I am not aware that Barnsley have sporting director/director of football Stability at clubs can be having the right structure at clubs like if you look Brentford as an example. They have Philip Giles there are Director of football with head coach under him. Dean Smith did a good job there. Now Frank is there. I would like to see Sporting Director/head coach structure in place at Rovers after Mowbray leaves. It would allow the head coach to focus on tactics, coaching the players, matchdays without having to focus on scouting or transfer matters. Sporting director works in buying players, scouting system and structure and contracts. Sporting Director and head coach works together to choose the right players they want, for example lets say if head coach want a pacey winger its the Sporting Director job to find 3 or 4 players to fit that role and the Head coach and Sporting Director work together to choose their 1st target
  12. The takeover has collapsed now No surprise that Ross has been sacked. Alot of Sunderland fans wanted her gone in the summer. Current Betting favourite(Sky Bet) is Daniel Stendal
  13. Well what the plan? Do they have someone line up? I think he deserve more time myself considering they got a young squad. No surprise if he was to go tbh
  14. Yes against Forest. Williams header. I enjoyed our Forest game. Enjoyed passing and movement. We just have to agree to disagree cos we aint going to agree
  15. I would very much accept I am minority. They probably few peope who could but chose not attend or cant due to other reasons like work or family. I would like Rovers to offer season tickets for under 16's for a pound. Got to get kids interested at early age. Or if you attend a game, then the next one you attend during the same season you get 20% off(something like that). Isnt the current arragement with you can pay it over 8 or 10 months at the minute?
  16. Great point and I agree. Someone at Ewood must have suggested his name and how much wages he would want
  17. Barsnley sacked Stendal as manager. https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/2019/october/clubstatement/ Very surprise by this after last season success
  18. Wasnt Cheston on holiday when Coyle was appoint? Seems to remember that. Wasnt the job Warnock until someone at the club suggest Coyle? Didnt Coyle say he met Balaji before getting the job?
  19. I'm like that. Rather just paid it off and its done. Dont have to think about for another 12 months then
  20. Well speaking other fans(who dont come on here) all said we played well and deserved alot more than 1 point against them. I thought against Forest we were good. Deserve to win tbh Not everyone will share your view mate
  21. Chris Sliverwood set to be appoint England head coach..it appears Kirsten flopped in his interview https://www.telegraph.co.uk/cricket/2019/10/06/chris-silverwood-favourite-named-new-england-head-coach-gary/amp/?__twitter_impression=true
  22. Firstly, why didnt you answer this point? on Manager wages, you clearly don't remember the conversation me, you and Pete on twitter a few weeks/month ago about wages and how much we pay tho. Do you not remember? Look at what I said about the Forest game and 1st and 2nd half so I dont have to keep repeating myself to you.. I explained this yesterday why I was annoyed at the performance and said I couldnt complained if Mowbray was sack. Surely this would answer your question
  23. well I'm sorry but if you thought we were shite against Forest you must have been watching a different game to me and to the people I spoke to about the game. I would say our final ball in the first half wasn't good enough but second half we got better. Look at our goal against Forest was that Stodgy, slow, lethargic? The vast majority of games this season we have played a 4-2-3-1- formation. We switch to 3 at the back against Millwall. so I cant see the argument there. I don't see how you can Holtby, Dack or Rothwell in the same team for me unless all 3 play behind a striker but for me I wouldn't even tho I picked it for this game or previous one. on Manager wages, you clearly don't remember the conversation me, you and Pete on twitter a few weeks/month ago about wages and how much we pay tho. Do you not remember? Bowyer is a former Charlton player, Club is in takeover talks and would he want to come here.
