  1. Taking the opportunity to workout side FFP rules as they don't apply to L1 and cherry picking what we can in L1 of talented young potential players ready to climb the leagues with us or punt for a bigger fee to supplement running costs of which neither of the signings to date provide any fruitful viable planning for the future.
  2. So what your saying and what I actually agree with is striking a balance.
  3. I know better sometimes and I'm assured in how a business or project should be operated so within myself I'm comfortable of that, I don't look at the short term but overall impact.
  4. One things for sure he can only improve from in on here. issue I had was contracts, 1year deals with an option of a further year based on performance. Go up this year and we will excuse my French but need to shed the @#/? to make way on the wage bill.its all fine and well looking at promotion this year but you can run a club or business especially how rovers are trying to do without looking at the life cycle cost of things and that goes on after promotion looking at the length of these deals.
  5. Life's too short. I actually admire those who won't let Venkys destroy what they love.
  6. No but they've not had the spectacular fall in the way of rovers. I'm aware of wolves double bouncing recently but Steve Morgan whom is a fantastic bloke always supported that club with whatever, Jez Moxey is a respected footballing director whom at Wolves had a very good management set up
  7. I'm non plussed pal each to their own. You've got some who go because of family some out of habit some who can't think of much better to do each to themselves
  8. I'm sure those that don't turn up are equally principled as those who still attend, personally I've seen allot of their efforts into many things whilst not attending supporting the club, maybe one day you'll thank them
  9. Wake up man forty years since. we have first class facilities and a stadium fit for top flight football. The club and most fans deserve better than this not a harkback to the good old days running out a crumbling stadium and a kick about for training on pleasy. Game has moved on since then it's no longer 11 lads boozing smoking and working there way through the week for a match bonus it's a serious profession and sport supported by numerous staff at Ewood in many day to day cross functioning support roles with mortgages and co to pay.
  10. Sheron and Weston are his agent or solicitor. Same as Coyke
  11. I've not even mentioned anything about Mowbray pal but for the record If we are not in the top two after ten games then he better be gone.
  12. I have done pal. 2 days ago. If you look on my post history you should be able to find it.
  13. Hmmm il trust the rufc fan board what had four pages of opinions. Might be okay at this level but normal people have ambition and this signing shows a severe lack of any.
  14. Wonder if you can cast it from abroad on one of these links
  15. From being out in Thailand (Friends there) they always warn me off getting a bottle of red bull at the 7/11.
  16. Not sure it's possible as they compensated Kentaro for early termination. Crescendo on the other hand
  17. I must be missing something Mark Hughes himself was signed on a 1 yr contract initially
  18. So get promoted and a step up to where he'd be a bit part player THIS season and another years mileage on the body that's a big risk, speaks volumes Warnock as experienced as he is lets him leave easily. 1+1 year contract would have been advisable with the second year optional at the clubs desire. Seems another potentially big financial liability to carry
  19. His record with money was virtually 100 percent. freebies some were nominal outgoings like petshi, some made money like koita and some provided experience like varney, some were key like kilgallon who we should have kept knowing we were selling both Duffy and Hanley. He's better than a Lenihan or Greer. some were just @#/? like delfouneso but what can you do when your reduced to scrapping around.
