  1. Michael Clarke unsure if he'll be fit for the 1st Ashes test. Real shame if he doesn't play.
  2. Nail. On. Head. Stupid to call Clarke an average captain. He has made some brave decisions and cracking bowling changes in order to take wickets at crucial times. His form with the bat has also been brilliant whilst he has been captain and it has been known that players struggle when handed the pressure of captaincy. However Clarke has thrived under the pressure and in my view is a superb captain.
  3. We're playing 7 ODI's against Australia. Number 1 ODI team is India. My statement was correct.
  4. The way his team performs is not down to him. He made some brilliant decisions in the Ashes series and with a better team around him, the contest would have been a lot closer. I enjoy watching him bat and always enjoy his decision making. I'd say he's better than the over cautious Cook.
  5. I admit winding people up on here prior to my warning. Since then I have stopped and would like an opinion on a ex-drunk that has been selected by England, which for me could play a pivotal role in the upcoming Ashes series. Only Jim has had the decency to construct a good enough response to the debate and if you ask me, you guys are just clogging up the thread with drivel, so please stop. Just seen Clarke has been ruled out for the India series. Shame as I was looking forward to seeing him play against the best team in the world. Hopefully he'll be fit for the Ashes series. A great captain.
  6. No Theno, in my lounge if you must know. Please don't make assumptions on what I think or do not think. If you have nothing constructive to add to this debate then please do not post. Thank you.
  7. Thank you Jim for a well constructed reply. I too was surprised that he was picked and the 'drunken imbecile' was what he said about himself. He did go on to say that the Ashes call up has somewhat revived his career and maybe the ECB gave him a helping hand? Who knows but it is a bizarre situation and if he does play, the Aussies will be all over him as well as the home crowd.
  8. If you read the article he also claimed himself that he was a drunken idiot. Like I said, I'm just intrigued as to whether you would want him in your team.
  9. No need for personal insults. I hope the moderators see this and give you the adequate punishment. SKH - no wumming intended whatsoever. Just sat last night with a few friends and came across the article. Interesting debate and would like to know everyone's opinion. If you choose not to add then by all means don't. I have taken into account Ste's warning and adhering to it.
  10. I know a lot of England fans who are not happy about his selection. I wouldn't want him in my team, however some would because he, along with Swann, is the best England spinner. Taken into account my warning and I will keep the thread on track. Asking a question about Panesar doesn't invite 'trolling' of any sort. Genuinely interested on people's view on his selection.
  11. Great interview in the Daily Mail with Monty Panesar. Not surprised England have added a drunken imbecile to the team, however Monty was. Also kicking out at fellow professionals in the sport not taken into account. What are your views? Happy seeing a drunken unprofessional player in the squad?
  12. The difference is Jim, I accept that they are cheating scum, so do the BCCI, hence they have received lifetime bans. You continue to back the cheating scumbags amongst the England setup and that is worrying. I guess your morals are very different to mine. No interest in the ODI's because you lost, and had you won, I'm sure you'd be gloating. Typical. No need for personal insults Norbert. I hope the moderators on the forum give you a 1 month ban just like I received for personal insults.
  13. Huge shame for boxing. Talking of boxing. How good is Floyd Mayweather? An absolute boxing master-class at the weekend against Canelo Alvarez. He seems to be getting better with age. Would love to see him take on Khan at Wembley next year, however I don't think it will happen due to Khan's inabilities as a boxer. Looking forward to Haye vs Fury and Groves vs Froch. Both completely sold out, luckily for me I have ringside tickets for both! Cannot wait!
  14. I noticed those English fans have gone awfully quiet after the ODI series. Still revelling in your cheating Ashes victory?
  15. You thought you had won, you though you had won, you stupid dingle ba*****s, forgot to mark Dunn King, King will tear you apart again. King, King will tear you apart again (only appropriate when we play Barnsley though, only team he scores against!!) He's on, He's off the dingles thought we'd lost Williamson, Williamson
  16. http://www.scoresonthedoors.org.uk/business/bukhara-restaurant-lancashire-510965.html Filthy as anything.
  17. The insurance paid out, if it wasn't sanctioned by the fire brigade or if appropriate measures were not in place the policy would have been void. Moving on.No Broad, it does not make you 'unpleasant' it makes you a blatant cheating scum. http://gu.com/p/3t5z6/tw
  18. It was a recommendation and my opinion was shared by 6 others who were with me at the time. 5* rating for food hygiene and 5* food. You have a problem, you know where the email address is, pop Glenn an email.
  19. Wouldn't be surprised if he had a fiddle with you. Something has to explain the stupidity that comes out of your mouth.
  20. I'd say what I have on this messageboard to you in person, my opinion doesn't change because I am on a computer. Where as with you, I'm sure you wouldn't have the balls to say half the @#/? you come out with on here to someone in person. Definition of a typical soft barsteward.
  21. Went Bukhara on Friday night and as always, lived up to the high expectations. A total of 7 of us went and service, food and price were all brilliant. Our order was: Starters: 7 x Poppadoms 2 x Pickle trays 2 x Mixed grills 2 x Masala Fish 1 x Chicken Tikka 2 x Meat Samosa’s 1 x Jahangiri Prawns 2 x Chips 1 x Masala Chips 1 x Greek Salad 1 x Mango Salad Mains: 1 x Desi ghost 1 x Karahi Lamb 1 x Lahori King Prawns 1 x Chicken Jalfrazi 1 x Chilman Biryani 2 x Pilau Rice 2 x Chips 4x Naan bread 1 x Keema Naan 4 x Jugs of Coca Cola 2 x Mango Lassi All of that came to a total of £175. The new Jahangiri prawns that have just been added onto the menu we're simply awesome. New Desi ghosht has been added to the menu. The lamb is on the bone and that too was fantastic.
