Yeah I loved the first mixtape, especially High For This and Wicked Games, still yet to appreciate the second in depth. I've been listening to a lot of stuff on Warp Records recently Flying Lotus, Aphex Twin and more recently Rustie but at the moment I'd have to say I'm really enjoying Battles and Maximo Park on that label, especially the former even though the latter are a local band for me, Kuedo, Burial and Netsky are also pretty high on the playlist at the moment, also. Been exploring a lot of Jesus & Mary Chain and My Bloody Valentine as well, having been too young to experience these bands at the time, but going to see what you could say is their modern counterpart in The Horrors, on tuesday. Have to say, Skying is probably my album of the year so far, so many tunes. That or Wild Beasts 'Smother' or the Neon Indian one, I can't recommend those enough, really nice textures and well written. The Metronomy and Anna Calvi albums aren't far behind either, but I can't really fathom the acclaim given to PJ Harvey's new album, it's a nice concept, but it just sounds dull and uninspired. What does everyone make of the Radiohead album?

Saw Muse and the Chemical Brothers plus a few others in Krakow recently. Both were incredible for differerring reasons. Also bought Massive Attack 'Mezzanine' from 1997 yesterday in a local record store (I live in Newcastle) for £2.99 it was £13 in HMV well pleased!

I havn't been and don't intend to this year (although I did consider it) but you're right about the festival fans thing, anyone else think that euro-festivals (save Glasto) are far better than our domestic ones? I went to Open'er fest in Poland last year and was just about the best thing i've ever done, i'm headed to Poland again this year but to Krakow to go to Coke Live fest where Muse and Chemical Brothers are playing, can't wait as these are the only two I really want to see and the only place to see them both, you off to Rock Werchter then American?

You have to admit though some of the songs are essentially made by the rawness of liam's voice and his swagger, 'Supersonic' and 'Morning Glory' for example. Late of the Pier are absolutely brilliant on record can't wait for their next album. I saw chase and status at evolution festival the other day absolutely brilliant they dropped a vip of Subfocus 'rock it' and pieces (where plan B joined them on stage). Anyone who is into d&b will know who i'm on about. Metronomy and tommy sparks good as well although NME only gave tommy sparks a 5 for his album. Really enjoying 'Intimacy' by Bloc Party and although its quite old 'In Rainbows' by Radiohead!

Totally agree Tris can't see why a lot on this board want him out of the club as he contributes goals which not many of our other players do! Instead of being destructive why not offer some constructive statements like telling us where the money is gonna come from for a striker of benni's calibre, critiscisers of Benni!

No no no no no!!! Mokeona- puts in some good tackles with his 1st touch but then he has lost it by the 2nd. Did anyone see the game against sunderland, had the best chance in the game (apart from of course the penalty), all he had to do was run straight through but decided to pass the ball which hit off a sunderland player. If i am right i think he also gave the ball away against cov yesterday. He is an absolute waste of space and clearing him out will not only make space for the wage bill, we will get maybe 1m for him (good considering how rubbish he is) and Hughes may possibly be able to find another gem to replace him. keep mokeona or sell him and get a better player i know which option i'd take
