  1. Dont. He's already waved a cyber red card at the mods following a spat with my call centre based alter ego.
  2. Not sure who you are on about but I was referring to the leg breaking liability who, for most of his with us was cr@p, bar a season and a half either side of the last world cup. On the strength of that the player I was referring to decided BRFC, the club that had put up with constant suspensions and erratic performances, were no longer good enough for him so he f***** off. Not before lying about his undying love of Liverpool and making childish gestures to supporters who had contributed towards his wages. THATS who I mean.
  3. I was pretty sure we had two 30k + gates in 2000 in the old 1st division v Sheff Utd and Huddersfield. Or did I dream that?
  4. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Niell is the epitomy of much of what is negative about the present day Premier League.
  5. I have been critical of McCarthy this season and the back end of last. He was, however, excellent against Liverpool. Phenominal workrate to go with his undoubted class. Fair play to him - top drawer!
  6. I've been really hacked off with McCarthy and his attitude this season. Glad he's knuckled down as there's no denying he's a class act. I dont think this is the end of his moping antics though. Prepare for another bout in the new year.
  7. Dont know if these have already been mentioned and I really cant be @rsed trawling through the thread. Anyhoo I'm just back from my hols when I read the following - "Horses Arse" a novel set in a 1970's North West Police station by Charlie Owen and "the Damned United" a fact based novel reflecting Brian Clough's 44 days at Leeds United in 1975 by David Peace. Both good.
  8. Had a wry smile to myself yesterday afternoon thinking of the pusses on the "Ingerlund" ****head's who gave Bentley grief.
