He was shit
The Ipswich manager is top class. He gets a tune out of five string guitars. Like Keith Richards on Gimme Shelter

Absolutley. Along with timekeeping taken out of refs hands so no aggro there, clock only ticks when ball in play. Sin bins. Refs miked up so we all see and hear the decisions. Fans intermingled, no aggro. Adult game, adult fans (in attitude.)
Before anyone says it, I like football and am a season ticket holder. 🙂I played rugby for thirty years. Supported Rovers for 60 Years. Only trophy I ever received was playing as a goalie in a five a side tournament. 🤔

JDT bigging up James Hill in the press. I wonder if he plans a formation change for Ipswich.
I hope he does an Arteta and do a goalie substitution if we lose a couple of goals early on.- 1

Terrible summer recruitment, Sigurdson not fit, Ennis not fit, Trostad can’t make the bench and the keeper can’t get a game either
Pretty ironic that we get rid of Dack because he is injury prone and sign Ennis who is a known sick note among Plymouth fans.
It is always difficult to hit the ground running after injury as Winter approaches but Ennis and Siggie Stardust will need to do their magic pretty soon before the wheels fall off the Venkys charabanc.- 2

I guess Win or lose, we will not be subject to a Dack 25 yard screamer that leaves Mowbray’s protege flapping in mid air.

With all this talk of trouble I went down the road less travelled to find some inspiration.
I found it in John Cooper Clarke. Some interesting similarities- 1

Will be the guy who repeatedly says "no" to Broughton's requests.
Maybe they brought him in to avoid any more Raos😉

Taking the positives and moving on. Iceman and Ennis link up perfectly to become the new SAS. Markanday finds his perfect crossing boots to bang them in from the wing and our new goalkeeper grabs his chance and can’t be replaced. Anything i missed? 🤔

Players have good and bad days for various reasons. Pears is completely out of his depth
How has he gone from. Hero to an idiot in just one game to coin the great David Coleman. JDT stuck with him over Kaminski when he was fit again.
if he plays a couple of blinders will he be a hero again.Asking for a friend 😉

Just back after a gruelling 640 mile round trip and still feeling the disappointment from a game in which we should have got something. Scoring first is usually advantageous and I really feel if we had our away one of our first half chances we would have won. But we didn't and it was almost predictable when Plymouth scored. The start of the second half was really good from a football point of view as we poured forward and created chances and half chances. To finish the game losing 3-0 left me feeling flat and if I'm totally honest a little worried. We simply have to put more of the chances away otherwise it could be a long season.
Respect to you for doing the miles. You deserved better

Positives
1 The score
2 The kids scoring representing Blackburn Rovers
3 No banana skins and excuses
4 The fans that travelled won’t forget the trip in a hurry.
The Negatives
1 No money for strikers as everyone can score. Keep up the good work chaps

Daylight robbery but Watford made nothing of their 25 shots. Great defensive display by the lads We miss the surging runs down the left from Diaz.
Three points at Watford, enough for them to lose their manager. 🤔

Just received transcript from dressing room half time conversation between JDT and Sammie
”Don’t read what those w$nkers on the forum are saying. Leave me on boss, I will sort it.”
“oh Okay Sammie, but don’t leave it too late.”

I am so happy to win our first game with what looked like an under strength team. Cometh the hour, cometh the men. Great result. .
Keep Travis, get the Iceman fit, bring in another winger to spread the options and keep JDT.
Job done- 1

I think JDT has managed his last game.
Interesting call.
I think we will know quickly. If he gets no joy from the owners he will be off. I think he feels let down by Broughton and he won’t waste another season having to play without at least two new quality forwards.- 4

Who has played their last game for us after today? Thomas, Diaz, Ayala. I would add Dack, Hedges, and Pears.
We finished well and ironically Diaz turned up in the second half.
We lost this campaign by the finest of margins in the last few games. No goalie goal against Coventry and we are in the playoffs.
Truth is we are not ready. We need a season of a JDT team. We will see if Broughton is up to the task. I have my doubts.- 2

I've not a clue what to expect. I could just as easily see us put in a swashbuckling first half performance and be 3-0 up at the break. We'd all be sitting there scratching our heads and wondering what could have been.
One thing I'm sure of though, is come the final whistle, we won't be in the playoffs.
I went on a journey in my head when you mentioned swashbuckling, and landed on this epic swashbuckler. Those were the days my friend ………

I am not sure if I feel better losing 3-1 having paid ten quid and not watching it rather than watching it. At least I will get my ten quid back hopefully.
