1. SoulSeek. I think it's at slsk.org.....or .tv or something. Definitely not .com. The interface leaves a lot to be desired, but is great for finding rare/'underground' stuff. Or so I hear. ::
2. B L A Z E tour announced. Glasgow Cathouse, April 18th. Get in.
3. Most recent aquisitions: Rhapsody - Rain Of A Thousand Flames Falconer (complete with new vocalist) - The Sceptre Of Deception And I've, *coughcopiedcough* ThunderSteel by Riot and Burning Earth by Firewind - now there's a chuffing album . PS: Anyone else gutted about Nick Oliveri leaving Queens Of The Stone Age?
4. Geese everytime. Always looking for a rumble when out in public and guaranteed to try and start a barney with any unsuspecting, innocent bystander within range. Complete nutjobs who have no regard for their own safety, making them fearless and relentless in their attacks. Usually don't give up once they've kicked off and will happily give chase waving broken bottles or knives. Nothing to do with the fact that I was the victim of a malicious and unprovoked attack as a 6 year old on holiday near a farm once. Still wake up in tears with the sound of angry honks now and again - when will it stop ? Nothing against swans, mind, but I'd wager on the Geese everytime; be warned they're serious headcases y'know ! Sharks vs Tigers ? Sharks would win. Why ? Could you imagine Tony the Tiger surviving in any of the Jaws films? Me, neither (and, yes, I have taken Tony's impeccable extreme sports-related skills into consideration). Especially that one from the last Jaws (I think) that had the ability to levitate itslef above the water and had a Darwin-defying ability to roar rather fearsomely. Would murder a tiger any day.
5. If Rovers were in the same shamble they were under Kidd we would be deep in and not above the relegation zone and Souness would have been sacked long ago. The players we have now are infinitely superior to the ones we had then. The spirit of the team is also far, far higher - noone could fault us for effort and commitment against Chelsea. A well timed substitiution by the manager got us deservedly back onto level terms only for a typically gift wrapped goal to prove our undoing. There is nothing a manager can do about that kind of moronic 'defending' by players that are far better than that sort of mistake makes them seem.
6. I spent 7 bucks today on a second hand copy of the Earth AD album by Misfits. A bargain some might say.....except it's only 21 minutes long! Bleedin' Punk music.....
7. .......................................................................................... .......................................................................................... .......................................................................................... ....WHAT??? I'm really struggling to find an answer to that one.
8. Don't know about all this talk about remixes and stuff (not in my day I tell thee :'> ) but the two tracks they did for 28 Days Later were fantastic. East Hastings takes far too long to get to the point, but the 8 or 9 minutes in the middle are amazing.
9. Well it's a bit challenging finding the best partnership when we can't keep the same two fit/free of suspension/being needed in other positions for two games in a row. Tiny deserved to be dropped though, you can't build a partnership when one of them is obviously playing awful.

11. Looking forward to? Metallica are playing Glasgow in June - even if the last album was crud it should be an awesome gig. Hopefully new albums from Lost Horizon and Luca Turilli (a good one this time would be nice). Plus, Judas Priest (with Rob Halford back ) are apparently doing a world tour.
12. I've just...er...researched a few of their songs, and I must say I'm impressed; good cover of Where Eagles Dare - nice to see the guitarist didn't embarass himself with that notorious b*****d of a solo.
13. I've heard that they are very Maiden (etc) influenced. He plays bass as well doesn't he?
14. Because they stopped making slightly more hard-edged (but still appalling) music in favour of tracks that would do well in the singles charts (such as the ear-raping song Rolling) in order to get them more album sales and, subsequently, money.
15. Hmmm, am I an "up-my-arse pretentious type" because I can't stand listening to possibly the worst singer in the world (with possibly the biggest ego in the world) whining/"rapping" over drop-tuned guitar murdering all backed by some fool knob-twiddling in the background?
16. Actually I really dislike their 'rap-metal' stuff. The new stuff is pretty arse too. John Bush a metal singer? Never. Can't beat songs like A.I.R., Armed and Dangerous and efilnikufesin, though.
17. Dont laugh but who are these people and what music to they play. I would imagine from your other posts that they play loud bang your head against the wall type of stuff - no offence intended Gamma Ray (Sweden) - 'melodic' Power Metal. Singer/guitarist Kai Hansen used to play guitar for... ...Helloween (German), one of the early Power bands. Again, fairly melodic, sometimes. Anthrax (American) - Thrash Metal. A bit like Metallica crossed with Judas Priest. Dio - come on...Ronny James Dio? Ex-Black Sabbath??
18. What proved to be the gig of my life very nealry ruined by the obligotary crowd surge inducing b'stards....very nealr died of dehydration. Anyway, fantastic gig, Paschendale and Journeyman from the new album were simply breathtaking live. And the abuse handed out to Funeral For A Friend was legendary. Chants of "Maiden, Maiden, Maiden" and "We want Gamma Ray/Anthrax/Helloween/Dio" between every song. Plus the bass player heard my mate shouting "YOU GUYS SUCK!!!" Serves 'em right for dishing out 45 minutes of audio diaorrea.
19. Finally getting to see Iron Maiden at the Glasgow SECC on Monday. Unfortunately the God-awful Funeral For A Friend (wow, what a deep name for a band.... ) are in support, but I'm sure I can shut my ears off long enough to ignore them.
20. I've just read on Ceefax that Gerard Houllier wants the LMA to step in to stop managers from criticising opposition players, this following Steve Bruce's calim that Florent Sinama Pongolle dived to win a penalty on Sunday. Pots and kettles, anyone?
21. Recently bought Jugulator by Judas Priest, the first album without Rob Halford singing. Only 4 bucks, but it's still pretty disappointing; Ripper Owens is actually a really good singer, but some of the lyrics and riffs are just unforgivable.
22. Good Charlotte getting bottled at Leeds (or was it Reading?) was fantastic. Rock indeed.
