We'll flatter for 15 mins or so, then lose 3 or 4 nil.

Still very much in this. The only player looking out of his depth for me so far is Moran.
You need your keeper to play a blinder in these ties and that wasn’t it.
Our keepers play blind.

I think I saw him holding his ribs. Possibly picked up a knock there.
That's what it looked like in JW. He pulled up holding his side after he blazes over half way through second half.
He had a poor game and was clearly struggling - why he wasn't subbed for Ennis was completely baffling. Poor by JDT.

A much needed win.

The only real consolation to the last few weeks is that the games we've lost were all top 6 sides. There's some mediocre dross in this league.
Still think we'll lose this though - no goal threat.

the owners don`t decide to play suicide football and leave massive acres of space for the opposition to exploit do they??you can give a manager 100 million quid but if he sets a team up like jdt has been doing he won`t get results, today was all down to him, attacking a far superior team who basically soaked everything up and exploited the space that was left,we might get away with it against the poorer sides but the better ones will exploit it,thats what we are seeing this season,im`e not sure why we are playing like this tbh
Because his remit is to develop players and add value. Points are irrelevant. As per Waggott.

We know Pears can't handle anything aerially. Its a 2 goal handicap every game.

For anyone that has seen him live - does Telalovic actually have some pace or does he just think he's quick?

good finish siggi

We won't win a game until Pears is dropped.

I'll reiterate a point made earlier this season. Pears is very good with the ball at his feet. His actual goalkeeping is poor and does not inspire the defence though.
We won't improve defensively till he's replaced in goal by an actual keeper and not a sweeper.

Nothing addressed in that transfer window. No experience, no decent striker, no pace.
Bottom 6 by the end of October and not sure this squad have the fight for a relegation battle.

Markanday and Dolan. Pointless. As we will be.

I'd have Garrett and JRC in middle second half and sub Wharton/Travis. Sunderland midfield bossing it.

Sunderland will pick us off now. Be another Plymouth scoreline.
We certainly create but can't hit a barn door.

I fancy Leonard to score tonight.

The last time I remember things being this bad up front was when we ended up playing Chris Samba up front. A great centre half but he looked like a fish riding a bike as a striker.
He was still an absoloute handful though!

I'll be amazed if the pitch is playable with all this rain.

I don't think that's fair - it's probably more that he's not the guy to bring on when you're chasing a game. He doesn't have the legs that Garrett does.
Well if he's not considered good enough to start and isn't the player to bring on if chasing a game. He's a bit of a pointless signing.
Yes - I know its early days.
Stull fuming from the performance.
