  1. Well done. Couple of little nervy spells but going forward we could have had 6
  2. Get to HT without conceding.
  3. What the hell was Kaminski doing there
  4. This is a carbon copy of the last game against derby
  5. Well this thread's died on its arse!
  6. MG road? Or Sergei the meerkat?
  7. Can anyone explain the difference between signing a centre forward one year and a striker the next? No wonder Brereton looks confused.
  8. No guarantee that any slice of the potential Raya/King fees would go on transfers.
  9. Reading between the lines in the LT it would seem TM has asked for a bigger budget and been told no by the owners.
  10. Given the tonking the barcodes have had at home, wouldn't be surprised if they put in a panic bid for Armstrong. Especially if they have any kind of sell on percentage in that original deal.
  11. To be fair, that Lamptey looks some player as well!
  12. To be fair he's usually on the right so up against Bell??‍♂️
  13. No. He seems to have a good attitude but still early days. Should be fun watching him scare a few seasoned defenders though. Hopefully he's robust on the muscle injury front as well.
  14. I think first 11 wise we have been close but our tactical play and defence was dire. Now we seem to have kids coming through and a game plan for the season. The stars are aligning...
  15. This. He looks good Dolan but he's very untested. How would he cope up against a fast physical fullback etc?
  16. We always seem to be 2-3 short each window. Hence mid table finishes. The last few squads you look at and think not really top 6. This time, with a good left back and another couple, we have a genuine shout. Time to go shit or bust.
  17. Can't see teams buying Dack until Jan earliest. From what we've seen so far, most people would say we are only a couple of quality signings away from genuine play off/promotion material. However, I think the Travis injury may have panicked him. I've always been an advocate of permanent over loan signings. Yet, surely now is the time for the 'expensive loan' quality to push us over the line - but it seems like he's had his fingers burnt. Alternatively, this is the time he goes to Venkys and cashes in all his 'credit" for an extra few million.
  18. Should be interesting with Derby getting off to a terrible start again.
