  1. Maybe an unpopular opinion but thought Bell did well today, some really good covering at the back
  2. A frustrating affair, never looked in danger of losing but rarely looked like winning Neill came for a point and apart from about 3 in game minutes they would have been confident of getting it, not sure what Mowbray wanted Hard to get too enthused with our bunch, never really look that bothered about winning games, don’t think we had a second half shot for about 40 minutes! Ref was a shocker but that’s nothing new
  3. Ah there is the refs yellow card
  4. Nyambe beating them every time but having no support afterwards ‘why the fuck is he on the wing’ chants after Gally struggles again, Mowbray killing his confidence
  5. As with Wigan we get bullied too easily; we aren’t nearly cynical enough
  6. What a start by us, slice of luck but we took it well in Arma
  7. Where is the sting coming from? Gallagher again, Bauer or Sinclair with a debut goal?
  8. So Brereton starts one game then right out of the squad in the next, need to sort a loan out
  9. Out of the team and out of the squad today
  10. No idea how this one is going; a win would be superb, a bad loss may speed the winds of change so I think either an ‘unlucky’ loss with a way to blame the ref or a dull draw That being said let’s just smash them and get back in form
  11. Shows how much of a shame our meek cup exit was, not saying Mowbray would have tested a couple of the young lads but either way it can’t happen now @Parsonblue has Lyons visibly developed since being here? It would always take a while going from a semi pro level to full time, looks like he has some good technical attributes
  12. Reckon he’d trim your hedges as he was doing his anyway and not grumble about taking parcels in
  13. He always had it in for him and singled him out for criticism. Morten always gave his all and gave us some fabulous memories, the goals against Wigan and Fulham and that double at old Trafford along with the winner against the Dingles Glad we had him here, always came across as a real gent as well In fact let’s bend the rules and give him a testimonial, get Big Brad, Reidy, Tugay, Nelsen, Benni Mc and co back for it
  14. Gallagher managed to fall over for no apparent reason before tapping it in
  15. MGP is the only player I’ve seen take a corner to himself and get away with it and set up a goal
  16. Great effort gone into this thanks Striking though that after Dacky the two or three worth the most are lads that were already here in Lenihan, Travis and Nyambe! It also highlights that the owners would be right to be sceptical of giving Mowbray money to spend
  17. Dom Sam down in London - do they not train Monday’s?
  18. I think the Rovers fan base has actually been really patient with most players, certainly been no audible criticism from the stands for Buckley that he would pick up on. The critique of his strengths and weaknesses has been online, surely there’s no issue with that. Do you think all other teams message boards just fawn over strengths without mentioning any weaknesses? With the likes of Brereton and Gallagher again I think the fans have been exceptionally patient; sounds like yesterday wasn’t nice but at Ewood people have been right behind them even praising and encouraging for basic stuff
  19. I’ve seen no more than I saw in Jordan Slew, looking for glimpses, something to cling onto, it’s just not there at this point. I desperately want him to come good here but it just doesn’t seem likely. A loan may be best for us all.
  20. Suppose it’s my fault in a way. 2 weeks or so back I was wasted excited for the Wigan game and a chance to get right in the mix. 5 games, 2 draws and 3 losses later here we are. I should have known better
  21. Indeed - in fact in work it’s something I am working on bringing to the forefront of people’s minds. Still think it should be 3:01 rather than 12:31 mind you On the team, surprised Chapman missed out after having the gauntlet thrown down by Mowbray
  22. 100% I’ve since realised why the minute delay and fully behind it, wellbeing and mental health is something that’s needs huge focus it just slipped my radar that it was happening today I had thought it was a way around some red tape and a way to show more games abroad
  23. Sorry just seen there’s reason for the 1 minute presumed it was just tv stuff
