Worthy champions, the competition may have been non existent this year but they’ve done their bit in style

‘Wee Dougie’ was always one of Nicko’s boys wasn’t he

Just created a penalty with a cute through ball

Amazing how many intertwining stories there could be next week, a lot depends on tomorrow, a Leeds win means the top spot is very undecided and a couple of the clubs playing next week are fighting for survival or play offs
-
A defeat would be lovely. A defeat by a handful of goals would be amazing!
-
Well I never held out hope and I won’t yet but can’t say it’s not nice to be going into the last game with a slight chance
-
And to our player of the season Sonny!
-
Ach well; never held out hope anyway

Rudy Gestede - Big Chill podcast Interview
Tom replied to Eddie's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Well done Eddie, keep letting them make fools of themselves I think Rudy will be out soon, defo was primed for the hot seat but talking his way into being a fall guy -

He’s generally highly regarded amongst Rovers fans, his welcome was rather outstayed and he could have a slightly dour tone but always represented us well. This post seems overly and unnecessarily harsh

It’s stark how much Sheff United shot themselves in the foot and imploded, at worst they should have been going to the last game instead they lost 3 on the bounce. Wouldn’t fancy them in the playoffs now
-
The sympathetic mask is slipping a little there
-
In fairness I’ve been following Rovers long enough that the last place I’d be during a promotion match is a Burnley forum!

Nah Burnley will be up by bedtime tonight sadly -
Sad to see that former Rochdale player Joe Thompson died at 36 after his cancer coming back a 3rd time, a cruel cruel disease

Carlisle equalised in injury time at Stanley, not sure if that stopped them being relegated today
-
Reminds me of the year we went down and last season when we almost did, you get a win and then see all the teams around you won. Luton and Plymouth with big wins but Derby and Hull getting wins keeping them in the drop zone

Not sure anyone is pretending that is the case (outside the corridors that is) -

Great win, weird game we didn’t have a single attack of note in the second half but at the same time never came under real pressure Toth looked calm I thought and stemmed the flow well a couple of times
