Penalty

Can’t think of a more depressing evening for us, feels somehow hopeless.

20 minutes of the second half gone, chasing a game against a relegation rival and since the free header there’s apparently been nothing from us for 15 minutes. Sleepwalking to oblivion!

In fairness by the rules the main thing the referee has got wrong is not giving them a penalty for handball after 5 minutes, would feel harsh but was most likely a penalty given how far it travelled before he handled it. We are really awful though even if we went in 0-0 it would have been one of the more depressing halves I remember. Lose this and we are properly in the mire after looking like getting some distance from the drop zone

Crap advantage played by the ref when your forward is taken out of the game it kind of stifles the attack
