  1. I think the book is a nice idea but given the amount of AI used in recent comms they could do with sharing more about the content
  2. To be fair I think we see similar stand offs quite often, Isak is out of the Newcastle team at the moment for similar but rarely it’s because the club is as tight as we are
  3. I severely doubt it’s true to be honest but o think (as a HR guy) that we’d be covered legally
  4. It would be legal as potentially gross misconduct if he has refused to play. But let’s be honest it’s about the most idiotic move you could make if you want the best money out of a deal, which makes it possible.
  5. This feels simultaneously a minor thing but a new low at the same time, not even willing to stump up a few thousand Without passing it on to the fans You’d not expect it of a non league club never mind us
  6. Honestly a 2 word (one isn’t even a word) post from you is about the best thing connected to Rovers in years, welcome back, even if it’s just for that one post!
  7. I don’t mind the bloke, quite like him in interviews etc but seems a limited manager, more to the point it seems inevitable he’s just passing through and will be gone by November either way. Sadly I’m feeling it all just feels hopeless right now.
  8. How can we be a point from the relegation zone when we have 0 points?
  9. Sadly a case of when not if, don’t think there’s an easy way back this time either!
  10. But you seem to think we are victimised from the very first foul it’s very much confirmation bias I haven’t seen a kick this season so can’t comment too much but I’d say referees are just generally not that adept these days
  11. We’ll have some bad decisions against us, some for us but there’s certainly no conspiracy. Seems today it went against us.
  12. Sickener really, a great win looked on the cards and come away with nothing, bad luck, bad officiating and poor form over a season only points to one thing sadly
  13. This is a relegation season isn’t it, all the hallmarks already
  14. Summary of the first half seems to be no creativity but didn’t concede and the refs a big ol meanie Will check in at full time for better news
  15. They want all the respect in the world then idiots let them down like that
  16. Fair play @K-Hod it’s a stance I took myself over a decade ago after trying and failing to make change, once you’ve been lied to directly to your face (by Suhail and Balaji himself) you lose a lot of hope. Huge respect to those in the various fan groups that toil away in the background despite all this. It was too much for me and it pains me to say I was beaten by it and my love for the club faded ever since. I’m a passenger now. I’d never tell anyone what to do or how to support or protest but I think the entire fans forum resigning would be a huge signal of unity in the fanbase against the regime but I know that wouldn’t happen and respect those that think the forum is the right vehicle for their hope of change.
  17. There’s either some iron clad NDA’s or people in football just lack the balls to speak up. To think of all the players, managers and back room guys that have been and gone in the last 15 years and nobody properly puts their head above the parapet to give the world some insight. It’s bonkers really but most of them are looking for the next pay cheque and not sullying their name.
  18. Catching up properly on the last few days activity (out in Florida on holiday) and it’s all quite depressing isn’t it. 2 losses, no incomings and Travis off? Can’t say I blame Trav but also think the boss is right to call him out if he’s been a bit of an arse but I don’t fully know what’s gone on. I’ve never rated him as highly as others (no revisionism) and thought he’s often more bothered about being a pantomime villain ala Robbie Savage at times to his detriment but it’s not relevant as the only thing that really matters is the stone cold fact that we won’t replace him with better, if he’s replaced at all. Expecting another loss at weekend and it could get uglier soon
  19. He’s a bigger man than I if he resigns on a 3 year contract - wait for the pay off surely
  20. Yep speaking from a HR perspective if we put someone on gardening leave they are in effect being paid for working their notice but not needed in work, typically for an exec role that’s 6 months. An alternative is to pay PILON - Payment in Lieu of Notice and end employment immediately but that can have tax implications for the employee. As it will likely have been mutual consent I imagine the former was agreed
  21. I’m hearing / making up rumours that the reason this was delayed is because we had to order the flag from Amazon and we don’t pay for prime
  22. Has Axel Witsel still not signed then? How about Riquelme?
  23. That’s a terrible and lazy signature……there’s no way that says Lewis Miller
  24. Always thought he had a shit hairband anyway
  25. He’d be daft not to really! As do the club I’m sure
