  1. He also said he’d been loaned out earlier and that McGuire was in England yesterday morning Maybe he knows a little but he talks a lot of shit
  2. If that’s true it’s a terrible deal for us; huge amount for the loan fee and then a ridiculous agreed fee Meaning we’ll loan him but even if he’s brilliant not sign him
  3. I try not to be too critical but the local press coverage has been really poor considering the attention from fans this is getting They should be breaking rank and doing what they can to provide clarity
  4. Hardly any followers and no source, someone just regurgitating the tweet about us cancelling incomings
  5. Hope so to be fair, I would, we need to embarrass the club further if it comes to pass Anger shouldn’t be aimed at anyone other than the owners, go for the big fish now
  6. Feel tomorrow really could be a key moment, if after this the Wharton sale goes through and no money is spent you would struggle to find anyone who doesn’t think it’s a signpost for a slow and painful demise into oblivion. Time for protests will be back, and the appetite to go with it
  7. If I was JDT and this was against my wishes I’d be walking. Tomorrow is a big day now, if you sell Wharton you have to back the manager
  8. Well Jones did also tweet that he’d landed this morning, chancer
  9. Makes a lot of sense really, why sign a few experienced players when you can sign one 48 year old and do it all in one go
  10. Whilst the lad is obviously hugely naturally gifted and has all the potential to be an elite player I’m not quite as high on the current A Wharton as most. I do attribute this to not seeing him in the flesh as much and for all his natural ability to pick a pass there’s been a slight tendency to play us into trouble at times but once that is coached out of him he’ll likely be a superstar. However potential is never guaranteed to be fulfilled, a few years ago Bradley Dack was weeks away from the premier league and injury ended it all. I don’t think there’s a way we could afford to risk not taking that kind of offer now. Wish the lad nothing but the best but with the football pyramid being as it is and us being where we are this sadly seems best case scenario for us, unearth and polish gems and profit and repeat, only one way to break the cycle!
  11. Not keen on the ref throwing the rules out of the window and just playing a single minute stoppage time out of pity
  12. He desperately needs a goal but I quite like what I see from Semir there’s some potential there
  13. What a tackle Gally; not many times you see a tackle assist like that
  14. Ridiculous booking for Garrett why is he jumping in there?
  15. Both BBC pundits saying the keeper needs to do better for their goal Can’t argue really
  16. Second save is a stunner but from a weak parry to set it up
  17. Apparently a bit chaotic with loads of Wrexham fans querying to get in I Don’t think our turnstiles get stress tested too often!
  18. I don’t see how the two are linked, why would the prospect of playing Newcastle make anyone who wasn’t already going decide to buy a ticket for Wrexham?
  19. Gutted for Maidstone what a crap draw for them
  20. Huge amount of respect for Klopp for being open about the reasons
