Exactly, the question was somewhat rhetorical.

This bollocks about having the tools already and no excuses is ridiculous.

Our squad is probably the weakest Rovers squad ever. That is 100% on the owners.

JDT said out loud what we all knew. For me he's a proper Rovers legend for doing that.

Some might say that's an exaggeration. Having contemplated for a while I think you're right.

The worst Rovers squad in living memory, take a bow Venkys you utter shitebags.

  2. Lowe's continued employment at the club is somewhat iffy. I seem to remember a previous management team removed him but he was brought back in under mysterious circumstances.

Rumour is it was Shithouse Suhail who brought him back in as he quite likes him and gives him an 'insight' into the dressing room. Add to that the scruffy bastard has been stinking the place up for years during our 'managed decline' and you can see why fans are sceptical.

Does he get a gig at this level if we let him go? Not a chance.

    Would we prefer:

Disillusioned manager lobbing handgrenades at the owners/management who gets us relegated?

    Or

New manager, tows the party line, buys into our current situation and keeps us up?

Exactly what I was thinking. It's a real paradox that JDT may hold the keys to this shit show falling apart but at the expense of points on the board and staying in the division.

Phil Jones was how long ago ?   Wharton is now so that's a long time and a lot of money but of course the bonus has been its produced one or two good enough for a championship squad.  Also now though too many who aren't ready or good enough have been chucked in that's partly why we are struggling.

In my view they'd just downgrade it to produce players good enough for the lge 1 squad then sell the training centre and the first team/academy would be on one site.  The downgraded version of the pie in the sky scheme Waggot & co were cooking up anyway and more annual running costs would be saved.

They are then creating a model that would run on its own much reduced income/expense terms that would only need propping up with about 5 mill or so a year.

An absolutely terrifying prospect and maybe when Mowbray alluded to the models he regularly did the real one in mind wasn't Brentford at all it was Barnsley.

You missed out selling the ground. It's only a question of time before that, like most so called conspiracy theories, becomes a reality.

I was going to take 20/1 a few week ago and didn't.

There were a load of clowns on FB celebrating the 'successful window' showing slips for a top 6 finish at 66/1 with loads of other amoebas congratulating them on a great value bet.

That's the level of intelligence we're dealing with.

My cat’s just died. It’s been coming for a couple of weeks, but feel like it sums it all up at the moment.

Sorry to hear that Mike, horrible times losing a pet.

Just been reading a thread on FB you and 'anonymous member' have been contributing on laying the slap on the pro Venky clowns with reasoned posts that have dumbfounded the majority, the rest just turn to abuse as a coping mechanism.

Well done for that and it's heartening to read some on there actually do get it. Small steps and all that but I feel a shift in opinion is imminent.

I think we're trying to reconstruct some sort of hybrid Coventry City team. Hyam, McFadzean, Fleck all played for them. Next we will get Strachan as manager should JDT resign, and sign Cyrus Christie, Jordan Shipley and Tyler Walker.

Heard the egg made late calls to Keith Houchen's agent and tried to exhume Cyrille Regis all to no avail.

The 200 million isn't actually a real debt to anybody, well the majority of it anyway, it's just what these owners have spent and isn't down on the clubs books as borrowings as far as i'm aware.

If it costs these bastards 20 million a quid a year in running costs would selling the club not save them that amount every year? Seems a no brainer to me.
