  1. ...but in the meantime can we afford to take firstly his mistake against liiverpool and two of the goals today were entirely his fault. We're in the mire and we can't afford school-boy errors.
  2. In favour of who? As Emerton and Reid are both having great games.
  3. I think we're just waiting for Tommo to be match fit to replace him but even that's a gamble as he's rarely ever played there so will need some adjusting time. Things are bad indeed. what idiot said that

  5. Sorry McEveley but everytime you've played at left back, we've conceded goals that have been your fault. He's not good enough I'm afraid.
  6. Bloody Hell, it's April already. Sorry, I must have been in hibernation for the winter.
  7. Despite others, I like Dunny lad and hope there's no truth in this.
  8. Scotty's been exposed as well. Is AEF, Anti Euro Smiths Fan? Shock Horror
  9. Atkins is a cult hero. Fine for the Super Atko fan club that used to exist in the Blackburn End Enclosure (pre-Jack) but not for the best in the clubs history. Although I agree with a few people, that other than Clayton, the competition seems somewhat threadbare compared with the debates for the back four. Strange really. I bet for most other clubs these positions would have been the most highly contested.
  10. Or because he was more recent in the memory of most voters perhaps? Anyway I've gone for Dougie. Thanks for the posts everyone but I voted purely thanks to my Dad. I've never seen him overawed or humbled by anyone or anything, until Dougie comes into the Butlers Arms in Pleasy for a pint of Black Cat.
  11. I just followed this link off that report and viewed the author's view of Ewood. It was not very complementary and was summed up with the below. " Although Blackburn turned in a woeful performance, when I have seen the likes of Hull City, Carlisle and Hearts play badly, the passion of the home supporters was still clear to see. Blackburn have a reputation for being a family club and some people may point towards that as an explanation for the lack of atmosphere, but the likes of Preston, Northampton and Hereford show that a high percentage of girls and children in the crowd doesn't affect the amount of noise around a stadium one bit. Ewood Park is a mundane setting, second best to new grounds like St Marys and the Reebok Stadium, classic venues like Goodison Park and Anfield, and smaller, more charming venues like Fratton Park. Even with the greatest ground in the world, with no noise around the stadium, the experience would still be largely uninspiring. A trip to Blackburn Rovers must rate as one of the most disappointing and lacklustre matchday experiences in Great Britain." I wish I hadn't read it now
  12. aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I hate stats like that, especially when Rovers are involved. Looks like a shed full of goals and max points for Borough. I am very sorry
  13. That Pele chap (whoever he was) wasn't a bad player either. Pele? Don't they make jeans? I saw Windy Miller in a nice pair once .
  14. aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I hate stats like that, especially when Rovers are involved. Looks like a shed full of goals and max points for Borough. Alan.....Believe.
  15. Boro have got one point from the last possible nine and they have only scored one goal in five hours and 12 minutes of Premiership football. I think we can beat that. Blues 2 - Reds 0.
  16. I don't believe that was the point we were trying to make. I used it as a justification for voting for Hendry who was I believe, at his Rovers playing peak, one of the best centre halves in the world. However thanks to the other member's enthusiasm, I voted for England as my second choice purely on recommendation over Moran or Fazwho I would have voted for. So I don't think it is pointless. I know this argument is going to rumble on but it seems a lot of other posters have been swung to the strong points of view of older members. Which is good but it does seem to the detriment of younger poster's views. I mean let's face it Le Saux and Hendry would have worthy of a vote in any era.
  17. ....because the playing of the English anthem in the Millenium Stadium will pass off in perfect silence. Next you'll be telling me the Scots would act the same way as the sheep botherers.
  18. About the booing. As I understand it from a friend who was at the match, the booing was as a result of a few (and I mean a few) welsh fans shouting (and singing) during the silence. If that was the case, which I'm sure it was, the welsh deserved everything they got today.
  19. He played at the heart of the defence of a team that got to the semi finals of the Champions League. Anyone would look bad next to Zoumana Camara, Roque Junior or a dead on his feet Lucas Radebe. RoverDrake is just a moron. Actually Leeds had Rio Ferdinand and Woodgate at centre half during their Champions League adventure. Matteo was mostly on the bench until Ferdinand left but I know what you mean.
  20. Already done the joke mate.. Stop it, you're killing me.
  21. Alright own up, who voted for Stephane Henchoz
  22. To be fair fair though, Souness didn't know very much about fitness, so I don't think that counts for much.
