  1. What was all that about? I guess it was nerves but we hardly had a shot on goal. How bad is Richard Witschge? I can't see he'll get picked again, send him back! There's really much to say about the match, I think we should just forget about it and carry on. Blimey, after getting abuse from the "happy hammers" for most of the match, afterwards in the pub (I love being 18 now) they were all patting us on the back saying "I hope you beat the Mancs". "Well you might be able to help us out with that one guys, you've got them last match" we replied. "Don't worry we've got them at Upton we won't lose" they said. I didn't feel any better. It was a long journey back on the official coach but heard on Radio 1's top 40 that Oasis' Some Might Say was straight in at number 1. Maybe it's not so bad I after all. Come on you Blues.
  2. Please can we not start another Word Association Thread. It's boring, pointless and is just being used by members to get their Post Count up.
  3. That does seem to be the case but does anyone, like I, think he could make a good alternative striker playing in a 4-4-2 (in other words playing up front with an on form striker).
  4. I've just got in and checked BBC; Possession: West Brom 70% Blackburn 30% Yowsa
  5. Ah Diddums. Maybe staying up this year isn't good enough for you.
  6. I hope you're being sarcastic. Yes after further thought I know you are
  7. OK but that would break their own rules. Not a good state of affairs.
  8. Ooops, see the above post. Google's great isn't it?
  9. As I understand it, I don't think that's right. In the case of Real Zaragoza it was the Spanish FA (no doubt heavily leaned on by UEFA) that decided the matter. Can you post a link as I can't find the one I was after?
  10. Now that does not seem quite right, poor Everton fans what a dagger through the heart that would be. No it isn't right, I'm currently trying to find the link that I read it on.
  11. The official line is that if Liverpool win they won't qualify again as winners unless they finish in the top four as there's no rule to say that the winners automatically qualify UEFA seem to be very keen that the maximum from every country is four teams. However I seem to recall that in Spain there was a season that the Spanish FA opted to demote Real Zaragoza (I think?) to the UEFA cup despite finishing 4th so that Real Madrid (the CL winners but finished outside the top four) could defend their title. I didn't think that the home FA's had this power but apparently so. Well anything to get Real in I reckon
  12. Anyway, we might even qualify for the UEFA cup as "Fair Play" winners
  13. Some sense at last, Clickety
  14. I always thought he was pretty decent when fit. Gordon "Sid" Cowans for me.
  15. Sorry to ask but has anyone know of a site where I can watch the goals? I can't find any on Google
  16. It's one of the best posts on this board ever.
  17. He'll be out of the team when Savage gets fit anyway.
  18. Mate, see the Semi-Final thread and post this question on there.
  19. I take it this is the English premier league or does the Scottish count?
  20. err, not for those who live as near as Birmingham I won't
  21. OK fair enough but you like me live in the Cotswolds which is for most people is down the road from Cardiff
  22. You best hope it goes to extra time, that way you'll get to see a bit of the match
  23. Flipping heck how much did we miss Andy Todd in the second half. Strange game really. We deserved a point but I don't think we played well at all.
