My prediction for today GK , Cantwell and a winger , hopefully the Brighton lad … a couple of exits on loan , maybe one of the GK’s and maybe one from the first team which comes out of the blue , with Vale gone I think another CF may be required possibly a cheap low level signing from Championship or League one

Cant explain why but I’ve got a bad feeling about signing Cantwell and the Hungarian keeper I feel they are both very risky

I think he his better than all of the keepers we have been linked with edit … sorry should have read it properly 😂😂… anyway on a separate note imo DAN Bentley is better than all the keepers we have been linked with

It was more my own personal valuation for him based on what I had seen of him and the funds we potentially have available I can see us loaning him but I wouldn’t pay more than £2m for him knowing other key areas need more attention

If we could get Ayari for less than £2m that would be a good signing Khadra on loan .. meh.. yeah he would add pace and could play on either wing so ticks boxes there for me but I thought he was too inconsistent when he was here last time and if he has regressed since I’d be concerned and didn’t he slag us off a bit when he signed for Sheffield Utd ? I feel £10m is the minimum we should accept for SS plus some added extras if he scores X goals , makes X appearances nothing less if that figure isn’t reached he stays scores goals and possibly moves for even more in January when teams in the bottom 6;of PL get desperate .. That said what we don’t want is an unhappy SS that is sulking and not putting effort in and not scoring goals , I don’t believe he is that type of player but some have already questioned his body language

Agree with most of that , I still think (despite his injury) one of Leonard or Vale will be loaned out so another striker will be required and I am still not convinced Fleck wont end up signing for us which could open the door for Buckley to leave

Not sure that’s a massive issue anymore for PL teams with big squads , especiallly in the league cup as most PL tea,s don’t even bother playing their best players til the semi finals

Can see this really dragging onto the end of window , if Ipswich Leicester Bournemouth Everton etc lose their opening games without looking like scoring they will be back in for him

Simple way out of this if SS really wants to go he can hand in a transfer request and forfeit any pay off from Rovers thus allowing us to accept the £8.5m

JRC needs to nail down a position , imo his best performances have been at full back I think he deserves chance in midfield but he has to start dominating games there otherwise he will just end up being an average utility player
