  1. Well let's hope he isn't written off as League one and Conference standard like Brererton and Buckley
  2. I disagreed with your initial post as you suggested his record and signing is nothing to be excited about. The excitement comes from the fact he is highly rated, Spurs wanted to keep him and other clubs at this level wanted him and it is a permanent deal rather than a loan. Nobody on here has said he will tear up the championship
  3. And who is saying he will be the next Damien Duff or tear up the championship? People are quite rightly excited over the fact we have signed a young player that Spurs wanted to keep and other Championship clubs wanted to sign.
  4. He does it with every single player. The "excitement" comes from the fact we have signed a highly rated young player from a Premier League club, not on a loan but on a permanent deal. If Stoke or another championship club signed Markanday it would be " look at Stoke they sign young players from Premier League clubs on permanent deals but we live off loans" Nobody has said Markanday will definitely make it at this level but the it is an exciting signing
  5. Yeah but in that case I just think there wasn't enough time to get the permanent deal done as there was an extra 2 week for EFL clubs to do loan deals that season But we could do an obligation to buy for Healy or another player IF ffp is stopping us pay a decent fee in this window
  6. Rev you haven't seen this guy play have you? I'm not that excited by the link myself but iv not seen enough of the guy to make a proper judgement. Would it be that peculiar to find he had improved with age and experience since his time in England?
  7. We didn't Brererton initially came on loan with an obligation to buy in January
  8. And you should know by now we like to rubbish our signings without seeing them play. Its what we do.Go back and read when we first signed Brererton, or even just 12 month ago.
  9. How many times have you seen him play? Id rather someone younger but couldn't describe Healy as shite as haven't seen him enough.
  10. Have a day off will you.Whiteman has really torn up the championship
  11. Tied down to 2026 as well.Good work by all involved
  12. Seen the video one of the spurs players looked like he had lost it
  13. Only way I can see them agreeing to a loan deal is if it comes with an obligation to buy in the summer
  14. Benitez sacking will be the final nail in Derby's coffin if Everton take Rooney.Credit to him has done very well with them under those conditions
  15. Lenihen has been immense since we changed to 3 at the back. His distribution has improved drastically. If we dont get promoted clubs in the Premier league will be looking at Wharton.Looks a top player in the making if he can avoid anymore long term injuries
  16. Sevilla willing to wait for Brererton https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/17335544/blackburn-ben-brereton-diaz-sevilla-transfer/
  17. They will be calculating how much no fans costs each club during that period when they do the calculations. It wouldnt be fair otherwise. No fans has cost clubs who get 20+ a week on average more than a club who only gets 10-15k
  18. He wouldnt be cheap his wages are 30k a week
  19. Fulham aside results very much going our way
  20. Seconded. Some people just want to see the negative and moan.We are second in the table and it isnt due to bad performances
  21. Iv been a massive Mowbray critic but you cant blame him for the players missplacing passes and looking a below par can we.The performance had nothing to do with how the team was set up
  22. Promotion sides win when playing badly.
  23. Is it not a good sign winning when you play poorly? We have performed well in the majority of games this season. Its unrealistic expecting that every week. Good result
