  1. Oh I'm not saying he is a good player no way worth the 15 million quoted. Transfer market has gone mad, ordinary players being bought for crazy money.
  2. Burnley making a 15 million bid for Chris Wood from Leeds according to the sun
  3. If Tomlinson isn't going to be used he should be loaned out.The guy has looked decent in his cameos tonight was ideal to give him a start or at least the second half
  4. Come on lads see this through a glamour tie against one of the big boys in the next round would be great. Hopefully we get someone like West Ham or Bournemouth proper premier league giants x
  5. Il be very disappointed if Tomlinson doesn't get a start tomorrow night. In his brief cameos he has looked decent and this match is an ideal opportunity to have a look at him from the start.
  6. In fairness this is being blown out of proportion altogether.I'd say you can count on one hand the players who wouldn't go out because they lost a match. He doesn't look @#/? in the pic, chatting up a fine bit of stuff .I don't see what he is doing wrong.Players up and down the country who lost this weekend would have been out having a few beers,Dack is just unfortunate that we live in a world where a league one footballer chatting to a lass from a reality tv show makes the paper..."newsworthy"...what a joke. Criticise the lad for his performance at the weekend but the bashing he is getting on here by some for being pictured out is ridiculous. Haven't seen much of Dack when he was with Gillingham apart from goal highlights but could anyone tell me where he played for Gillingham?Behind the front 1,as part of a midfield 3? Or wide of a front 3?Or did he play as part of a midfield 2? If he can't play in a midfield two then I don't see playing 4-4-2 is in Mowbray's thoughts at all,as Dack was a big outlay well by venky standards and league one standards. So I really don't see him leaving dack out when he is available
  7. A lot of the villa lads will know they are playing for their future so don't expect that to be an easy game. Was kodgia red card a straight is he out for the rovers match?
  8. The defence has been better since Mowbray took over so no wonder Steele has looked better. He deserves a little credit for his assist against Wigan but the man is a liability, very poor goalkeeper, makes the odd Hollywood save but the rest of his game is poor,he looks like a rabbit in headlights when coming for a cross, his distribution is terrible 9 times out of ten. Bit worried that Mowbray will stick with him though as he had him at Boro.An experienced number 1 should Be near the top of the list for incomings this summer.Raya has potential but why on earth wasn't he sent on loan to a league 1 or 2 club this season is beyond me
  9. Thanks.Notice you never mentioned Mansell?Do you not rate him?Have you seen much of Butterworth?Been a while since the academy has provided a decent striker
  10. Parson do you think Travis or Doyle are far off making the step up?Not a massive fan of Williams,do you think Doyle has something to offer at left back?
  11. The last young player you called useless we sold to Manchester United for 20 million
  12. Belgium and Egyptian league?Show me his stats from his last job in England.I was taken aback by Mowbrays appointment myself but if it had been McLeish I have no doubt we would have got relegated
  13. If your only as good as your last job then why did you want McLeish to take over?
  14. Any thoughts on the good performances of Nyambe Jal?
  15. There is a link on page 8 on the Coyle sacked thread for a bbc radio Lancashire special, both Sutton and Brett ormerod give their thoughts and you can tell that they both don't have a high opinion of Senior, with Ormerod labelling him patronising Paul
  16. If Coyle wanted Mahoney to sign a new contract so badly then perhaps putting him in the starting 11 ahead of the has been Conway and the never was Feeney would have helped
  17. Definitely recommend the the founder.Michael keaton should at least get a nomination for best actor for his portrayal of Ray Kroc. Really enjoyed The Arrival it would be one of my films of the year too. If you haven't watched Gold put that on your to watch list. It's loosely based on a true story the Bre-x mining scandal and like I said before a fantastic performance by Matthew mcConaughey
  18. Watched "The Founder" last night.Film about the mcdonalds empire, was quality.Great lead performance by Michael Keaton. Other good films I watched this month The Arrival,Trainspotting 2 (although not a patch on the first one) and Gold again another great lead performance by Matthew mcConaughey
  19. I do agree with you in the sense that a proper training and fitness regime leads to less injuries.Just saying that in that instance the injuries at Bolton didn't have much to do with the way Coyle was training then,Holden had his leg broken in a match if memory serves me correctly.Hopefully with Chris Neville being involved with the fitness and conditioning side of things then we should be ok with the fitness of the squad.
  20. well I don't think it was his training methods that caused Fabrice Muamba to have his problems.Stuart Holden has proven that he is an injury prone player so again don't think Coyles methods can be blamed. And the Korean lad who is now at palace also had a long term injury that season. Those 3 where key players for Bolton at that time
  21. Sorry but how does it look like kean all over again?Same accent?Did he make promises of champions league football?Did he liken Shane Duffy as the second coming of Paulo Maldini? I'm dissapointed with his appointment and as I said in an earlier post was bemused by his apparent lack of knowledge regarding SEM,but he isn't represented by SEM anymore, and posters on here who have encountered him and his family have described him as a decent guy.Bad manager maybe...but like Kean I don't think so. He did well at Burnley and in Scotland before that. His time at Bolton was mixed, yeah they got relegated but in fairness to Coyle a lot of his key men that season wer injured. His time at Wigan was terrible. A lot will depend on how he does in the transfer market and if he listens to the rest of the backroom staff
