How long did it take Arma and Brererton before they developed into regular goalscorers? I wouldn't have dealt for that price with such little time left in the window with the current situation the club finds itself in. You are correct that Wigan and Bolton got new owners but those owners will struggle to take those clubs any higher than championship football. You are 1 who wants money spent every single season and run a big squad with similar quality throughout it, that costs. Iv Rothwell down in midfield. Still rather Dack in a game than Rothwell ,had that sharpness last night and will always know where the back of the net is. But il give you Rothwell as a miss for midfield on part of last season if we are honest previous and after his transfer breaking down he was average at best with a few sparkles of excitement that led to nothing Giles was used as a forward option for us last season.Maybe 2 or 3 times LWB I think more goals in this side personally. Midfield will depend on if Wharton and Morton can continue to perform at a high level .I'm not daft enough to think Wharton will play like that every game but Rothwell never played as good as that I obviously agree with you lot of unknowns and question marks but apart from a few clubs im not looking at many benches our even first teams with envy

Defence last Lenihen Nyambe Van Hecke Wharton Pickering ,Edun , Ayala This season Hyam, Brittain, Wharton ,Carter , Ayala ,Pickering ,Mole, Phillips, Ayala Midfield last season Travis ,Johnson, Rothwell, Davenport I won't say Buckley as rarely used there This season Travis ,Morton , A Wharton , Buckley, Mole Player development has to be taken into consideration aswell some of the younger lads will be further along aswell With the rate our academy is turning out players I wouldn't bet against a another 1 or 2 coming into consideration As a first window it was decent enough,we got 2 decent defenders in on permanent deals and kept Brererton.One questionable move for me was Szmodic but il give it a bit of time and see if he contributes positively The money spent wasn't earth shattering but spent smartly enough just have to hope it's the first step and it will be a continuous build with money spent.
