They didn't play hardly.Hedges has contributed more in 3 matches this season than he did between signing and the end of last season.Markanday got injured and was only available for a couple of matches. Opinions but I'd say Brittain is an upgrade on Nyambe certainly his attacking game. Hyman iv seen hardly any of but his stats, injury record and the views of the Coventry fans has made pleasent reading.With the exception of last season Lenihen was nothing special but was a leader. Szmodic I'm not too impressed by and a fee rising to £2.5 is too much for me when Dack should be playing in his ideal position. The lads we lost were here for years and not once did we make the top 6. Still time to bring in a game changer or 2 we still have most loan slots available and the wages we lost from last season's squad.The lads we brought in so far won't be on massive money.

And clearly we are willing to commit to paying a decent wage for a centre half if we the reports we were willing to pay Davies 26k per week are correct,but going off the media for that one Lenihen said the above. In fairness Lenihen had a very good season last year but prior to that he was a middle of the road championship defender.He has some good qualities,leadership and his agression but on the ball is poor and does make quite a few mistakes. No idea on this Hyam but seems to be a player who has progressed and his injury record is quite pleasing, still hope Van den Berg or Van Hecke arrive here though.

Id prefer Van Hecke myself but I do have some reservations if he would be as good as part of a back 4 rather than a 3. And Sepp van den Berg may not be proven here but he has proved himself in the championship with Preston also added value that he has shown himself capable of playing rb, I don't think covering Rb when needed would be as comfortable for Van Hecke.
