Even Tony thought that was an awful game. All but apologised in his post-match interview. But as he said himself, that game is behind us now and we’ve got the three points. “We won’t go anywhere I’d thats our level of football going forward”. Well said, Tony. The rub is that it’s your job to put that right.

It was his quickness of thought that started an attack instead of a foot on the ball and letting them get back. No place for Smallwood on this side. No way can Travis be dropped or loaned out now.

This is what spoils some fans. Smug. Especially after that game. The reality is that was a relief grabbing three points after playing some dire football for 99% of that game. That finishes 0-0 and suddenly taking off Dack doesn’t look so great. As it is, you have to question if Armstrong has been used to his (and the team’s) best because of the need to accommodate Dack. Palmer scoring on his Bristol debut too adds to that debate. It’s well done to Mowbray today but let’s not pretend that it’s time to start scoring points.

I’m very glad it did. If you had watched that game, even you wouldn’t have found anything positive. But we’ll all take a big three points.

This second half is even worse than the first. Didnt think it was possible.

Can’t believe you can’t give Nuttall credit for today’s performance. He’s looked more like an attacker today that Brereton has in all his minutes combined. Nobody has been great but Bell is poor and Mowbray’s tactics and choices are doing him no favours. Dack looks a little half-hearted today and that is mirrored in the team. But with Mulgrew and Graham not playing he won’t feel like he’s playing with his mates.

Agree with you but one of Evans or Smallwood will play under Mowbray.
