  1. He’s already on the books! (Probably lurking, with TheRovers Facebook page and the LT open in the background).
  2. I’m not his biggest fan but Waggott can’t win on this one. You feel away fans should be in the lower tier first. I very strongly feel the opposite. Home advantage is king. Allardyce knew it and got Williams to put away fans upstairs and give the whole of the lower to Rovers fans.
  3. It’s their debt because of their idiocy! Being grateful to them is like being grateful that a bloke who bet the mortgage on the horses and had to take out a credit card to buy the shopping instead of robbing his kids piggy banks.
  4. The whole ground looks tragic because of a lack of home support (thanks Steve). The away end I’m happy if it looks empty. Being the home side should be about home advantage and three points.
  5. Disagree. Get them out of the way. It makes them less able to put pressure on the officials for one thing, and keeps the noise at a much lower volume. We couldn’t have been further away from the pitch at Newcastle.
  6. Was given a month off due to the totting up rule and is presumably now sulking. Hope nothing else has happened to the lad in the meantime.
  7. Start hammering that laughter button folks! Shits about to get real!
  8. Well done Rovers for not milking the fans. £10 adults, £5 under-21 and seniors, £2 under-17. It would be nice to get a sizeable crowd down to show that price matters.
  9. I get that you being goaded but you are on a really sticky wicket defending Brereton. And it all hinges on his price tag. Liverpool may have better youngsters that BB but nobody has shelled out £10m on them on fees/wages. For that kind of money we could probably have bought one of them (with a sell-on clause).
  10. You’ve illustrated precisely why Waggott has underestimated Blackburn folk.
  11. If the 4th Champions League spot went to the FA Cup winner chances are it would be given to the runner up and not the winner - with that team potentially already being in it already via the league. It’s only the lack of prize which prevents the big teams taking in seriously. They need to bring back the Cup Winners Cup and enter both domestic trophy winners.
  12. Settle down gentlemen. There are lots of posters on this site who don’t go to games for various reasons but have an opinion. Maybe gb has fallen out of love with the club. Not sure it warrants a witch hunt.
  13. He’s hit the beer or burger tent hard since he stopped playing. Even Coyle looked in better shape!
  14. Just watching a re-run of the Star Sixes tourney. What a state Dunny is in! Outrageous.
  15. Well, it may stop very average foreign players standing in the way of British youngster just because of an EU passport. Players will need to be a bit more outstanding in their field to be able to apply for a work permit. https://latitudelaw.com/news/the-fas-policy-on-non-eu-football-players-and-possible-implications-following-brexit/ Or we might just see a mirror agreement of current rules.
  16. He’s scored more goals for Bolton than Brezzer has for Rovers though. 26yo but looks like 26 going on 40...! Doesn’t mind put himself about. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=sMNYNHmKt-4
  17. Just goes to show that you only really know your own club. Sounds like you are in a similar position with Cashley as we are with the Raos. Interesting that you say Benitez approached Ashley though. Unless he has a Geordie grandma the only reason to do that is to get himself back in the PL shop window. Having got you promoted you’d have thought he’d have been tempted elsewhere by now. So he’s either happy (despite moaning about transfer budgets) or on good money on a binding contract - or can’t get a gig elsewhere. Whichever way, I’d sooner have Benitez than Mowbray, no matter how nice a guy TM is - at least in public.
  18. Imagine if Venkys were so desperate to recover the money that they have thrown at Rovers (loaned) that they want to bank roll a quick return. And the manager they now have won’t or can’t spend it!
  19. Chapman was miles faster. I’m honestly not convinced he’s that fast compared to other Championship players. Last season he was much quicker in comparison.
  20. I thought the embargo was the reason they couldn’t make it permanent? Although not paying his wages is a really poor do.
