  1. Bloody excellent save it was from Shevchenko. Not quite sure how Liverpool managed to pull that off. We're dead and buried at half time and to get the three goals back in quick sucession was so important. Well done to the reds ~~~~~~~
  2. Well I got one of these http://www.cclonline.com/product-info.asp?...category_id=265 a couple of months ago and I really like it. I bought an extra sound card for it though because its not very loud but apart from that its great.
  3. But why am I the only one, why put me down as 0% Are the mods preparing themselves, should I try to press their buttons? 317310[/snapback] USABlue, I think that you can only see your own warning level.
  4. That is in the distant past, like I can remember that far back. However it brings me on to a new little feature that I think is quite cool. The snapback thing. I deleted it from my first few posts but it's quite clever. Allows you go jump back to the original post. I like!
  5. You're putting words into my mouth also, because as far as I am aware I never said that either
  6. You can turn sigs off if you like, well you could on the old board so I'm sure you can on this one too. One small request - if possible could this line from the top: > BRFCS Forums > Chat Forums > The Messageboard also go at the bottom like it used to do. I know its lazy, not scrolling up to the top its just habit clicking on it at the bottom.
  7. There's 2 quote buttons. If you click the far right one, it takes you straight to the reply screen with the quote already in the text box. If you press the other one, then you have to click reply after it. edit: Ohh, I get it now. If you use the other quote button, you can click it on more than one post, and it quotes all of them in your reply. Thats pretty clever actually.
  8. This is what i've been thinking. My YA season ticket in the family stand costs £175, my brothers only cost £95. Granted we both have the loyalty bonus thingy, but without that it'd still be very cheap. We've considered moving to the BBL several times, but we've stayed in the family stand because we've become quite attached to our seats and people around us up there. Also even though the 2 adults per child policy still apparantly exists, they have said they wont make us move, because its not as if there is anyone else to fill the seats! As for getting more fans, its a difficult one. The actual football hasn't been much to shout about in recent times although I feel this situation is a lot better than at the beginning of the season, and should only improve. I dont know why we cant do something like this. I've heard that PNE have posted over 1/4million season ticket application forms to the surrounding areas. Whilst many of them may probably go in the bin, it will attract the 'floating football fans' and get them that extra bit of support.
  9. SSHEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. I thought of a situation and was wondering if anyone knew if there was any possibility it could happen. Just say that over the next season Old Trafford stops selling out because of the ticket prices. But they find that they could easily sell out a stadium in London at those prices, say Wembley for arguments sake. Given that Wimbledon moved and later changed into MK Dons, could Man U also move cities? Wimbledon were able to do it, is there anything really stopping Man U from doing it?
  11. The first thing I knew of the Glazer bid was some weirdo man running into my shop up to the counter and shouting 'UNITED AREN'T FOR F'ING SALE!! F'IN GLAZER IS GONNA F'IN DIE!!! DO YOU F'IN HEAR ME???' and with that he run out again I think the main problems with the deal is that ticket prices and merchandise will increase massively. Many people are threatening to boycott the games, but Glazier will be relying on the fact that there are plenty more stupid people more than happy to fill thier seats. The argument that 'but they aren't proper united fans' that many hav been on the telly saying today, will be irrelivant because Glazier wont care who sits there. Also he will put Man U into a large debt, but if he ever does make any profit, the fears are that it wont be spent on improving the team, improving the stadium etc etc, it'll just go straight back into his pocket. But it looks like whatever imusa/shareholders united say/do, he's gonna have control. It will certainly be interesting what happens. If it was any other club I'm sure most people would be against it, but seen as its Man United people are sitting back and enjoying it in a bitter kind of way The best quote i've heard all day about it was from some guy on the telly this aft: 'The team Manchester United belongs to the people of Manchester'
  12. DOnt put in the effort!! I've been to every away game this season, surely that should count for something. But oh no, anyone who has only been to a couple games this season can just waltz in and take tickets from people who deserve them more.
  13. I may be wrong but I dont think the site will be down for a great amount of time. I think most of the work will be done in the background whilst this board is still up and running, with as much testing as possible done on it. Then it will go live and replace this board. This will minimise the amount of time he messageboard isn't available.
  14. I cant believe how the way the ticket office distributed the tickets!!! I queued up from 5am but didn't get one!!! I heard that some people bought them over the phone - how dare they sell over the phone when people are queueing?! Season ticket holders should always have priority. Its one of the few priviledges we have left now. They couldn't cope with the demand for this game, how on earth are they going to cope when 40,000 people all want tickets to watch Rovers in the Champions League?!
  15. Claire?! Its C L A R E - its even written on my avatar for your convenience But that brings onto another point. A bit ago someone asked about the feasibility of having something that can make sure that players names are spelt correctly. It doesn't really bother me - Friedel/Friedal/Freidel - I can fathom out who its menna be but it does seem to irritate some people greatly! Maybe a modification of the swear filter or something might work.
  16. - Sometimes if I go onto a forum, the messageboard for example, but then close the window without reading anything. When I go back to the forum it says that I've read all the threads when I haven't. - I think all the match preview threads, which turn into the thread for each match should be saved - maybe stick them all in the match report forum. So that all the links in my match report section (which i will update soon i promise) dont break but also because there are many good previews and reports in there - can the 'people currently online' be brought back. i know there's been quite a few problems with this, but for some reason i like knowing who else is on the board at the same time
  17. This isn't really a Rovers problem, its a problem for all clubs. Since the stupid FA got rid of the two tier academy system, to just one team, it now means that there isn't an extra level for players to develop in. Before most reserve sides were mostly first team players who couldn't get in or coming back from injury, with a couple of promising youngsters in. Now its the other way round. Waggy - I dont think anyone is against bringing youngsters through. But, losing a million quid (which would be extremely useful this summer) because we tried out a few youngsters who aren't good enough anyway, and aren't even shining in the reserves is just silly. It's not as if we have the next Damien Duff, who is miles too good for the reserves but isn't getting a chance.
  18. no. this phase is for tst's only and the england ones have already sold out.
  19. Well I've just got back and I'm quite pleased with a point from the Hawthornes. I thought we played ok in the first half despite going in a goal down. Excellent free kick by Richardson. I think we was all waiting for Gera to take it then Richardson stepped up. How Stead missed that chance I dont know. Some lad watched it again on his phone and told us that the shot actually went it, then come back out again. I cant see how that can happen though really. The second half the Rovers fans were a bit subdued, but then something at the back of the stand broke and then there was a river running down the aisle at the back (was a bit puzzled at first as to why my feet were getting wet) and everyone started singing again. Then shortly after we scored Was a bit worried when the ball run to Emerton, but good finish from the lad. Savage and Pedersen then both came close and Hoult saved well from Gally towards the end. And that was about it! - Thought Todd and Nelsen dealt well with the physical presence of Horsfield and Campbell, although Nelsen did give that free kick away. - Savage looked better. Looks like he's getting his fitness back, I bet he cant wait for the Brum game. - Pedersen, Ried and Mokoena all looked tired. Ried wasn't up to the standards of the previous weeks, but was ok in the main. - Stead! Worked hard all game, but when is he gonna bloody score!! They played the Great Escape several times over the tannoy. They are the team I want to stay up, I'm not sure they will though.
  20. A good extention to use for tabbed browsing is 'Tabbrowser Preferences' you can download this from the mozilla page. It means that it'll open a new tab in Firefox, when in IE it will open a new window. ie when you click an external link in this forum. Also if you press a link with the middle button on your mouse, or now normally the scroll wheel, that automatically opens a new tab too.
  21. weve been allocated 2700 tickets so we could bring a few down(i hope) haha If we sell that many tickets then pigs will fly over the Hawthornes too!
  22. Well the last couple of times we've been to Brum there have been no police, instead there has been a private security firm doing their job.
