  1. Quite enjoyed today, always good to beat Saints! Nice atmosphere too despite the small crowd. Loved the fella at half time on the loud speaker "THE GOLDEN GAMBLE DRAW WILL BE MADE PITCH SIDE TODAY, HOWEVER DUE TO NOISE RESTRICTIONS THE WINNERS WILL NOT BE ANNOUNCED!!" errr ok! ha
  2. The saints fans are going in the east and west stands, first 3 blocks of each.
  3. Köln fans didn't take too kindly to getting relegated on Saturday... http://www.whoateallthepies.tv/fail/122733/fc-koln-relegated-from-bundesliga-fans-proceed-to-set-stadium-on-fire-video.html
  4. Juve have won Serie A with one game to go. If they win next weekend they'll go unbeaten. Just watched the Milan derby, if you wanted an example of bad refereeing you should watch the replay!
  5. Friday night for me...gives the pitch a day to 'recover' (and I have an exam on Saturday morning which I skived off last year to watch Rovers vs Man U, so cant skive it again! ).
  6. The Lives of Others at #58 is a great film. It is in German with subtitles but is very good.
  7. Good game up at Featherstone yesterday although I would've liked it to be a bit easier from Wigan! Although it didn't matter too much yesterday, it did highlight again that a 2nd kicker is a must!
  8. Well that was good!!! Always great to beat Saints. Much better defence than previous games and made it count when we had to. Was a bit worried when they had that push just after half time (5 pens in a row ffs ) but the defence held out brilliantly. We could still do with a 2nd kicker, makes me nervous Josh taking them! What you think of the stadium? I thought it was alright but they could've carried on building the brick walls to the top, bloody drafty!! Oh and they serve beer slower than at Ewood which I didn't think was possible!
  9. This got on my nerves on Friday. Lee Briers was wobbling all over the show for at least the last 20 minutes, he couldn't keep up with the line and had Wigan run at him they'd probably have gone straight through him. However I can't recall the ball coming back down that side very much at all. Lots of wasted opportunity.
  10. ergh! bad organisation, bad kicking (we could do with a 2nd kicker), fecking ###### refereeing, too many mistakes... :@
  11. http://www.youtube.com/embed/VLuMT5m8CP8 Polish u8's game abandoned after the Ultras turn up! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLuMT5m8CP8
  12. We took two of my cousins (5 and 9) to their first match today and they really enjoyed themselves. Was a lot of explaining to do, but we kept them busy by getting them to count tackles till they had to kick and keep track of the score Bit depressing when we got home and they said it was dead good because they got to celebrate miles more than they do at Rovers Not a brill game, but I did like Sam's cheeky try (what a sod!) Bring on the Wire!
  13. Thought first half was a bit tetchy but second half was really good. That Scott Dereu is a right whinge bag, always in Silverwood's ear, especially after the one forward pass he actually saw!! Gotta get ready to get Saints tickets on Wednesday morning - hope there's some left by the time I can buy them
  14. Just watched it now - couldn't go cos already had tickets booked for Vampire Rock at Preston. Very good victory, always good to beat dirty Leeds!!! Defence was brill and Charnley took us over the line when we needed to. Difficult to think this is the same team pretty much as last week. Always felt we was in control. That Kylie (proper girls name!) Leuluai is horrible.
  15. It's not as if there weren't enough forwards in the team! Also - Monday night rugby, what's that all about?!
  16. Well that wasn't a great start to the season! Just thought Wigan were far too flat in attack, and when we were within distance of the try line made a few bad decisions. Had to laugh at some of the miserable sods sat around me - 'good job relegation doesn't exist anymore, cos that's where we'd be heading', 'just no hope for us'. good grief!!
  17. http://yoniishappy.com/eyes.html Guess who the eyes belong to
  18. Well I'm not sure, it is the the German FA who have suspended him. He misses 6 bundesliga games and 2 Europa League games, but he can play for America during that time. I dunno if that means he'd be able to play in England - maybe the ban would transfer?
  19. Jermain Jones has just been banned until 1st March and has been declared the nastiest player in Germany. He got sent off in the cup game vs B.Moenchengladbach, but his ban is for an off the ball incident. He deliberately stamped on Reus's foot, who was wearing a specially designed boot as he's got a broken toe.
  20. You'll ahve to let us know what seats you have, I'll see if there's any to get nearby when I come. Liking the new shirt - back to normal
  21. I'm having a bit of a clear out and these shirts made it onto my ebay list. Its quite a random collection, but feel free to bid Can bring them to Ewood if anyone wants to pick them up rather than pay for postage. Clare's Random Shirt Collection
  22. What's changed since March? http://www.code13rugbyleague.com/2011/03/09/joel-tomkins-ive-got-no-desire-to-leave-wigan-for-rugby-union/
  23. I would get onto the RFL if I was you. I think although you can collect tickets at OT, I think that is alls they provide a bog standard collection. It might be that any purchased after a certain date get held there (I'm not sure) Man U's ticket office have absolutely nothing to to with it, so it would be no good talking to them on game day.
