As a Ewood regular since the early 60s I’ve seen most of the goals mentioned. One that does stick in my mind was big John McNamee’s thunderbolt. An evening game, we sat in the Nuttall Street stand near the half way. John volleyed the ball from at least 40 yards. The goalkeeper never moved!
