  1. Season tickets.. already in excess of last season's sales with 6/7 weeks to go before start of season and transfer activity to go. 16% are NEW customers (not returning) Early bird deadline won't be extended. New season tickets sent out last week of July or first week in August due to the new turnstile system. New cards will last for 3 years at least.
  2. Stadium maintenance... Waggot says they need to conform to health and safety regs, agrees things need to be looked at and they'll be addressed and prioritised. Let club know if there are particular areas that need immediate work. Big investment and says In honesty it is probably a 10 year plan before full maintenance is complete, and by that time they'll need to start again. Final decision on DE closure was Waggots. Says it makes complete commercial sense due to high away followings this season. Club will help make corner of JW lower a designated singing section, currently monitoring the numbers going in.
  3. New initiatives.. Big investment on new turnstile system, anyone on kid ticket that's an adult will be stopped. Data capturing etc is better. Blues bar is being revamped and will be ready for start of season. Every pitch the club owns has been upgraded. Hoping to get multi-dispensers for half time pints also hoping to install contactless asap. Back to shirts, hoping for multiple sponsors before the season starts.
  4. New kits... Can't say who new sponsor is yet, hopefully announcement in next 2 weeks. Hoping home shirt will be available 2nd week in July, want it on sale for Liverpool game. Can't announce colour of away shirt.
  5. Programmes will be available next season but how they are ordered and sold is to be reviewed. Maybe a membership scheme.
  6. 18/19 turnover is projected to be at 75/80% higher than it is currently - Cheston Will Venkys want their money back from the club? - Venkys have never given any indication they would want it back.. the loan is interest free. The Venkys have sent a letter to EFL saying they are happy to continue funding the club. The club cannot pay them back at present anyway. Hawk eye comes into play this season, cost of £85,000 to the club.
  7. There is no intent to bring in outside investors by Venkys and they're happy to keep supporting BRFC themselves. We're relying on a benefactor model at present. Steve Waggot has no definitive answer as to what Venkys reasons were to buy the club.
  8. Blackburn based board, Mike, Steve and Gandhi Babu have official meetings 4 times a year.
  9. Waggot has a direct line to Madame Desai and all decisions are made by him to ensure the decision making process is quicker than it has been in the past.
  10. Waggot asked owners when they're coming back to ewood. Promised they'll come back but no set date.
  11. Waggot: club is not for sale, loud and clear.
  12. Highlights on BBC Lancs tomorrow night confirmed by Andy Bates.
  13. Cheston, Waggot and Mowbray are the 3 on the top table
  14. BBC Lancashire are here as usual, would assume it'll be on tomorrow night.
  15. I'm going tonight. Like last time I'll post regular updates on this thread.
  16. Josh... just to confirm, I was one of the 2 members that always attended when SteB ran the forum. I can't make it tomorrow but If I need to I can rearrange.. I assume it's changed now though?
  17. Yeah, I honestly think he will be absolutely top class. Admittedly, he is still very raw but the potential is definitely there. See you in 4 seasons ?
  18. I'm astounded that people would consider dropping Raya for Frank Fielding. Raya was fantastic last season and saved our arses in a few games. 22 years old and a product of our academy, we should be doing whatever it takes to let him continue his development... IMO he is our biggest monetary asset and will be playing in the top 6 of the Premier League within 4 seasons.
  19. Nyambe, Woahhh, Nyambe, Woahhh, He came from Namibia, To play in Lancashire... Especially for @JAL
  20. With Chapman, Dack and Armstrong behind him I'd take Rhodes back every day of the week... not getting a sniff at Sheffield Wednesday lately. Gabbiadini has fallen well out of favour at Southampton too but I imagine he would demand high wages and a substantial fee. (Probably in dream land with that one)
  21. Can't think of the song name but everyone must have heard the new 'Salah, Mane Mane' song that Liverpool have... anyway this is my rovers version... Bennett! Dodododododo Ohh Danny Graham dodododododo Downing and Charlie Mulgrew Championship we're coming for you
  22. This gets my vote!
  23. I wouldn't mind seeing Caddis at full back and Nyambe given a go on the wing. Pacey and I reckon he would be dangerous if let off the leash a bit.
  24. It's really grinding my gears how Nuttall isn't getting a sniff. He's scoring every bloody week, what more does he have to do? It's absolutely criminal!! He's on a one year contract, he'll be snapped up in a heartbeat in summer. We wouldn't have scored vs Oldham if we were playing until Christmas! If he doesn't get in the side at weekend I'll be fuming!
