It's not going to be one for the purists. Harris generally had Millwall aggressive, hard working and direct previously, it looks to be the same this time around.
Neither team will want the ball and it will come down to winning duels, working hard and set pieces (attacking and defending). Sadly for us, we aren't very good at any of those things.
We probably need Fadz in order to deal with set pieces/aerial threat which keeps us in a back 3.
Tronstad needs to start, probably alongside Buckley. Wouldn't be averse to Garrett starting to give us some aggression in the middle of the park.
Hopefully Hedges and Gallagher are fit to start also.

Some PNE fans giving us pelters on twitter for only taking 350 to this game lby far the lowest away attendance in the championship) despite the fact they only took 250 (their game was a Friday night just before Xmas but still)

Brittain heading for a second relegation from the championship on his CV within what four years should tell you all you need to know
So will Szmodics and yet you couldn't find 2 players with more contrasting attitudes on the pitch.

Really wanted to give him a good chance but he seemingly doesn't have any answers either. No wins in 6 is just a continuation of the horror show that was served up before hand.
Hugely concerning, he's needed a couple of wins by now at least and now there is huge pressure to win the next 2 but Millwall are up next and are currently living off an actual managerial bounce.
He's got to pull something unexpected out of the bag if we are to stand a chance, sadly, can't see it though.

Pears and Moran (x2), absolutely honking for their goals.

You would think. That run in is just horrendous - for any team. Let alone one with the back bone of ours.
Saw on twitter earlier that ours is the 2nd most difficult (based on opposition league position I think) out of anyone else down at the bottom.

I don’t want to sound too dramatic, but surely if we fail to get 4 points - as an absolute minimum - in the next two home games, then we’re as good as down given our run in, right?
Gotta win them both, unfortunately

When was the last time a team went down from this league with a player having scored as many goals as Sammie? Feels like it would be some achievement if we do pull it off.
Venkys love breaking records.

Classic Rovers. Always let us down.

A win today would be huge.
Come on Rovers!

Gilsenan in the squad by the looks. Didn't see Tronstad in the video though.

Although they've just had a man sent off. Hopefully Leeds make it count in the 2nd half

Bad start to the day, Huddersfield lead against Leeds.

Never thought I'd want Leeds to win a game but here we are 🤷♂️

Any updates on the squad? News on Sammie?
Late calls to be made on Hedges, Tronstad and Gallagher. Fleck out for a month.
JRC, Leonard, Carter & Barnes all still missing.

Was tremendous last night the best iv'e seen him here looked a lot stronger and more direct than usual.
Still think he's best used as an impact sub.
He always turns up for cup games. As soon as he gets a chance in the league he looks poor again.
Hopefully JE can get him playing well in the league, as he showed what he's capable of on Tuesday.

My main reflection this morning is that Eustace could be the real deal. How he got that performance is beyond me. It was noteworthy too that when required the players could still pass the ball in tight spaces a la JDT, but also got rid when they needed to.
I thought playing Sammie as a flash nine with SG and Dolan either side looked excellent and when Siggy came on I thought the position suited him perfectly.
So, I think we've managed to get a good coach, which is the most important thing we need right now.
Can't disagree with any of that.
It was really good to see us mixing it up between styles tbh. Showed that JE is more than just a long ball merchant.
He's got to get it right in the league but gives a huge boost going into the last part of the season.

Fair play to Ayari, Markanday & Sigurdsson, who I thought all had good games.
Ayari in particular I thought was good, tenacious little bugger, gets stuck in as well.
If all 3 can carry that level of performance into the league games, we suddenly look much better going into the latter part of the season.

Massive congratulation to Eustace for getting the team to compete with and match a top Premier League team for 120 minutes.
Gives alot of hope for the future
They've spent like £400m to basically be bang average. Wasn't impressed by them at all.
If that's their level, they've got some huge problems.

To a man, they have done us proud.
It's a lottery now and we've played our part superbly. Cruel on either team.

Just to underline the poor January window, John Fleck is out for the season after playing just 15mins or so for us.
Edit: I see this news has been posted in another thread.
