  1. I personally thought Johnson was tremendous. What an astute signing that guy is turning out to be. He and Travis in that deeper lying middle of the park must be up there with the best in the division. Cunningham and William's coming back in to the side has made us very solid. Obviously delighted with Walton too. Always looks good to save a pen but his height really helped towards the end to take the hanging crosses and pumps forward.

The corner appears to have been turned and looks like the way weve played in the past couple of games we look like steely with our preferred defensive 7

  2. I'm shocked people think £4 a pint (or equivalent) is expensive for a pint of Fosters. Personally it's not something I would ever drink (unless I suddenly become 17 again); but its merely the higher end ot what I'd expect to pay in a pub these days. I'm completely unaware of prices in Blackburn but if I went out were I live (Southport) I would easily expect to pay close to a tenner for two decent pints.

The bigger issue for me is season tickets. If the club were bold and rolled back prices akin to 2010 levels of £200; then I am certain the number sold would have been huge and a full(er) ground generates much greater income through both shirt sales and concourse sales.

I think we'd need international scouting to unearth someone who hasn't either played for Mowbray before or recently come up against us in a match.

We've just splurged £12 million on two strikers unlikely to have much impact as they'll be spending most of their time out wide. I'd have paid £7 million for Joao, made him first choice CF and then invested the remaining £5 million on other areas.

Agencies haven't done Wolves, Leeds or Forest too much harm. It's one way to quickly recruit players to the standard needed to push on rather than sitting around going nowhere because we can't get deals done.

No but they nearly ruined us!

  4. TM is a good guy. I genuinely think he has the clubs interests at heart. I think when he inevitably gets the chop at some point he is remembered fondly. People really have forgotten how much of a basket case our great club had become before he walked through the door and in reality the guy plaited piss getting us promoted at the first time of asking from League 1.

He clearly isn't perfect and he gets some things wrong but overall he gets more right than wrong IMHO.

    In Tony I trust

  5. I think there is an element of planning for the future with Gallagher. There is no way on gods green earth that Graham will be first choice in 20/21. The fella is getting too old for a regular starting place...and that's not being cruel that's a fact.

As Danny retreats further in to the background, Gallagher and Brereton will creep further forward. I suspect Samuel and Nuttall will vacate and those mentioned along with Armstrong will compete for the place(s) depending on formation
