I do love how people are getting photo-shopped all over the gaff yet Shart is still in an old shirt and not worthy of even being recognised in a new shirt.

Makes me wonder whether Dack is really injured or not (although he looked it to be fair). I have heard through grapevine that he is up in Court again next week.
He's up in court? What for?

Could be Evans is playing brilliantly at the moment because he's looking over his shoulder at the queue of blokes waiting to take his place.
Definitely. And it's good we've got another one who actually has experience in this league!

Anybody spotted Brereton having coffee with Arma anywhere this morning? Is he gonna sign today? Reckon Chapman will be here on Friday as the Samuel replacement.
Do people still want Chapman? Obviously seems like he has potential and is mates with everyone but 12 caps off the bench in League 1 and a questionable injury record doesn't scream 'bring him back please'. Feel like we could do better. No doubting his potential ability but I think we need a more finished article at this point.

I've said this a couple of times before. It doesn't matter if we already have loads of midfielders already - if he is better than what we have why wouldn't we want him? Seems stupid to just not want to progress or improve the team. Now, I don't have much of an opinion on him myself but by all accounts and from what I have read, he is an improvement on Smallwood so I will take it. Also, Evans is playing brilliantly at the minute, I can't fault him but who's to say he won't return to his former self at some point? Can never have too many quality players. No signing is pointless if they're better than what we have. Lets not stand still eh?

I was wondering that, not checked the transfer news for a couple of days and checked last night and was surprised to see the transfer news regarding us was Reed not Brereton.
Strange once again how the cheap loan deal can get done almost overnight but the major deal which involves spending decent money eventually, can't
It was a bank holiday yesterday. Bank probably couldn't send £6million, crazy I know.

A CB would definitely be welcome. Wouldn’t mind another forward or wide player either - times not on our side though if our latest signing timescales are taken in to account though

Do people think Brereton will be the last one in?

Can one of the ultra positive people please come tell me it will be okay and trust Mowbray please
Even I can’t put a positive spin on this signing of it happens

Sylla? Wish I hadn’t bothered logging on.
I smell desperation.

Unless we've been really stupid and offered him a ridiculous deal (which I highly doubt), this Rodwell deal is kind of a win win for us. Does terribly - get rid. Does well - we have a decent player on our books. Had bags of potential back in the day so let's hope he can finally live up to it here if it happens!
One thing is for sure, i'll be backing him 100% to succeed.

I think Mowbray's given up on Whittingham because if he couldn't make the squad last night then he is never going to.
Yeah, it comes to something when Hart gets on the bench ahead of you

Budget still there. Reed coming in. Hopefully loan to buy. Another player coming in
I think either Fleetwood or Bradford would be good options for him. He needs to play regulary. I think he be a top player for us in the future. I would like him to stay but understand to loan him out.
Reed coming in? Is that a fact now or am I missing something?
-
I’m still confident about our starting 11 but if we’re not winning I will be extremely worried after looking at that bench.
Has Hart even kicked a ball for our first team In pre season?

Anyone know if Palmer was carrying a knock?

The work to get all the technology in is being done during the October (or it could be the November one?) international break, so probably the next home game after that at a guess.
Cheers, I am sure they gave a specific game on their website / twitter at some point though!

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but does anyone remember which game they said the 'chip and pin' would be activated for the kiosks under the stand?

Would Brereton be happy sitting on the bench most weeks? We play 1 up front and currently the manager has Danny Graham as #1 and Armstrong as #2. That might come into consideration.
Probably better than not sitting on the bench at all at Forest in the first instance. Also, I would imagine he would be #2 here with Armstrong being #3 but #1 on the left/right.

Maybe he's not in the squad for a reason...?
Yeah, that reason will be the same reason most players that move don't get in their squads during the transfer window. To prevent injury and a potential move from falling through. Some people just presume he's not in the squad because he is 'crap' and 'not even good enough for Boro'.

I think I would be inclined to start the same team as the weekend but have Rothwell in there instead of Smallwood. I feel like eventually he will replace Smallwood in there so i'd like to see him starting a few games to ease him in.
Wouldn't be unhappy to see Bennett in CM either with Rothwell or Armstrong moving out wide and Graham coming back in up top. Would feel a bit bad for Armstrong though as I think he's been great in the last two games up front.

Bell surely has to be first choice left back until he proves otherwise now
I agree. He's waited months for his chance and he's definitely taking it now!
