Signed for Luton yesterday, didn't he?

I wish I had some inside information so I could watch a messageboard blow up in front of my eyes
JB must be loving it!

Who does he play for? I think he is hinting at that.

Can you make them easier please?!

Ten-in-a-row is the only thing that matters to them this season, rightly or wrongly.
Yeah, I think that too. I really don't think they care about the Champions League this year, they'd rather just get one over Rangers!

Luca Toni finally putting pen to paper?
That has taken a while even by our standards.

If it’s not Kipre then they’ve done well to keep this under wraps. Let’s hope it’s someone decent

Well you did then like other posts saying ‘how far we’ve fallen to lose players to West Brom’ etc. so...
Have we not fallen ? Seems a strange thing to be questioning to me.

Were you? Didn’t sound like it or the other posters saying similar things straight after.
Glad to hear you didn’t mean it anyway.
Are you trying to say that you would have expected us to lose out on a signing to West Brom prior to Venky's taking over? It's a fact that we've fallen a long way since then, times have changed. People are allowed to be disappointed in our change of circumstances.
I am not calling West Brom a nothing team but we've swapped places and that is disappointing.

West Bromwich Albion. How have we got to a position where we are less appealing than West Bromwich Albion? I've been to West Brom, there is nothing there. There is nothing in their town there is nothing in their trophy cabinet. They are a poxy yo yo team who will never go anywhere. We are Blackburn fucking Rovers for fuck sake, pride of Lancashire, rich history, ex Premier League Champions.
Stop being ridiculous Cedric and come and play for the biggest and best club in Lancashire.
But also, be prepared to play on the wing or potentially in goal.
I had this realisation earlier when I saw Rich's article. It really hit home how far we have fallen that we can't even beat West Brom to a signing. Even more so, how disappointed I am that we won't be signing a defender from Wigan!

Rich Sharpe saying WBA are in pole position for Kipre now. Wages the big factor, obviously.

In other news I have to say I’m impressed with Millwall’s business this window. They’ve just got Scott Malone on loan who is a very good left back at this level. Would of been happy with him here.
Yeah, I am surprised we didn't try for him. Proven LB.

A newcastle fan group on Facebook claiming they are trying to buy back Adam Armstrong for around 10 million. Says they have been talking to rovers for past couple days. Anyone with a bit of inside info heard anything?
Think they’ve been looking at this jokers account on Twitter.

He's obviously posting this shite and then looking on here.
If he goes elsewhere, fine. I will be disappointed but you have to think it's close if Rich Sharpe is harping on about a fee and talks with the player's representatives. I'll take that above Nixon at this stage.

I saw that someone mentioned the ex hannover full back Miiko Albornoz. As a player he would not be an improvement on what we have. Was hannover's weak leak in one of the worst defences they have had since I moved to Hannover. He likes to hold onto the ball and dribble his way out of trouble. 60% of the time it works....
He's also a sex offender. Pass.

Bit of info. Tip off by somebody who usually concentrates on Premier League data, but heard it on the grapevine.
Is he any good? Don't know much about him.

Would sooner give Dan Pike minutes!
True. I do think when Nyambe is out we're knackered down there because I want to see JRC further up. Weirdly think that JRC being there can help Bennett.

Think Wharton is head and shoulders over the other three who, IMO, will never cut it at Championship level (even as back up).
100%. No way would I send Wharton out and have these 3 on the bench above him. No chance. Wharton is miles ahead of them at this point in time!

Bennett (sorry) Lenihan Wharton Williams
Travis Holtby Evans

Still think Wharton will end up back at Northampton for another season,or even half a season, to get games in.
If we can get in a couple of experienced c/backs in and have Carter, Magloire Grayson as back up we should be ok, and get Mulgrew and Williams off the wage bill.
Do you not prefer Wharton to Carter, Magloire and Grayson? Wharton has the games and experience that the others don't. I'd be sending the other 3 out on loan for some games!

Surely the time has come to give Wharton the opportunity. You only have to look at what Ben White managed in his first season in the championship after loans in the leagues below. There’s no way Brighton would have been knocking back bids of £25m for him before he’d done a season with Leeds. What’s not to say that Wharton could form a partnership with Lenihan.
I feel his loan last season was at a league lower than is should have been but that was our mistake. He’d already won promotion from league 2 so should have been rewarded with a league 1 loan to test him at a better level. However he got promoted again from league 2 so couldn’t really do much more. It’s time to either start him or risk losing him like we did with Jack O’Connell.
I agree with this mostly. Even just having him on a bench as one ‘back up’ is something we should be doing. Get a starting CB in and have Wharton as back up and we’re not in bad shape. Wharton has to be given the chance now or he’ll end up going and we’ll most probably regret it again.

Holtby looking like our playmaker
Was saying earlier how I didn’t feel he had made a position his own because Mowbray hasn’t found where to put him. I know it’s only a friendly but looks like this could be the one for him.

He may as well have just told everyone. Done nothing but string everyone along otherwise. Duff info or not, nothing gained by keeping it a secret! Hardly going to scupper anything as it's not happened either.
